I was really pressed with this hotel! I loved the location as we walked to both west lake in the afternoon (10/15 minutes) and the old street- Qinghefang at night (15 minutes). The hotel itself is also surrounded by shops and restaurants. I have stayed in lots of cheap Chinese hotels and this was the best. The staff weren’t phased dealing with non-Chinese speakers, the room had tea making facilities and a hair drier etc. the breakfast was also much better than other cheap Chinese accommodation. Usually it is baozi and congee and that’s it. They had fried noodles and fried rice and even sausage and bacon! They had a big range of fruit too. They had coffee and tea available at breakfast as well. However I don’t think they understand the western components of the breakfast, and I would recommend that the hotel offer fresh bread and butter. The entire bread selection was rock hard, and half of the big bowl of butter was well passed its best. They need to offer fresh bread each day, and little butter packets like ‘anchor’ etc would help them maintain the butter better. Some of the salad was also old. So if they improve these elements they would perfect. The whole hotel had really nice decor, including the restaurant. I am a big fan and would recommend to anyone!

Excellent hotel for the price

There are few named "Wuyang" hotels in Hangzhou. Please specify the exact name and address to the taxi driver. It is a small hotel located at a quiet street along Jianguo south road, convinient stores and restaurants can be found nearby. I choose this hotel because it is within walking distance to Hangzhou railway station, Hefang shopping street and Nanshong street. Simple breakfast provided and it s adequate for me. I like the vintage design and deco of the hotel. Very clean and affordable. The only thing i dislike about this hotel is the bed, a bit hard to sleep on.
