Visited as part of a school trip in September 2016. 

Breakfast was poor with little variety, and food was not readily replenished. 

The hotel lobby was PITCH BLACK at night, with only a small table lamp at the reception desk turned on. Using the lobby wifi involved me sitting in a chair in the dark. 

Plus point is that rooms were comfortable and clean during my trip duration. Lighting a bit dim though. Toilets were clean but also quite dark. Wifi in the room worked from the 2nd night onwards, but as usual required VPN to get past the Chinese firewall. 

Not a good experience

After checking in, I was accompanied to my room by the bellboy, who entered my room and promptly removed the ashtrays. Although this fulfilled my advance request for a non-smoking room, it was not what I had in mind. Further reducing my first impression, I found the bed linens were soiled, towels dirty and the room carpet needing to be vacuumed. I could not call the front desk because the telephone in my room was broken so I trudged downstairs to the front desk to complain. The elevator is very slow. I was given laundered sheets and towels but told that the vacuum cleaner could turn on but could no longer suck up any dirt.

Should I ever have the desire to found an entrepreneurial business, I am certain that I could easily make money by travelling from Chinese hotel to hotel, teaching housekeeping staff how to change vacuum cleaner bags. Once I showed staff how to put a fresh bag in their vacuum, to their amazement, their old Electrolux began to work as good as new.  The bathroom floor in my room, however, was covered with mildew, and could not come clean even with a good washing. Making the bed and cleaning the flooring in my room should not have been my responsibility. Overall, facilities are run down and staff are either poorly trained or indifferent. 

Water pressure in the shower was far too strong and could not be adjusted. Only scalding or freezing water came from the tap. Food service was generally lacklustre and the breakfast room was filthy. Tablecloths had likely not been changed in months.  Also, the complimentary WiFi network throughout the hotel was not functioning during my stay. 

With more attention to detail, I could certainly have rated this hotel at three stars. The price being charged, at 288 RMB per night for a very basic room is comparable to what should be charged in three star properties but what I received for the money was not good overall value. Now that the staff know how to change their vacuum cleaner bags, I suspect future guests may even bump up their rating to three stars but two stars is much more in line with my actual experience.

Two Star Hotel

Stay 2 nights here for bring our 280 people..the locations quite good,the lobby is very big..and they staff is really help us when we need to delivery our luggage to room..rooms is quite big, but the ornaments is too old or chinnese style.. i think the lightning is not so bright also..but still ok.. the breakfast is good,i try their buns, is very delicious.. and also the noodle.. over all is still ok for stay

This is considered to be a 5-star hotel, but I truly believe it is self-proclaimed 5 stars. The hotel definitely does not deserve its 5-star rating. First the lobby was weird and uninviting. When we walked in, the lobby was dark and eerie, and there were no couches around. There was no sufficient sound proofing - we heard karaoke BLASTING (with horrible singing by the way!) from somewhere within the hotel. Second, the rooms were not very comfortable - the bathroom looked old and dirty, and our light was not working inside - we had to ask multiple times before they would send someone to come fix it. They tried to include fancy light switches but the labels on the light switches were confusing or incorrect (english and chinese descriptions were completely different!). Also, the service was less than spectacular - the staff team handling our luggage was not very professional - you would think that if we tip them to carry our luggage to our rooms that they would actually carry to our rooms and not just to the elevators, which was what they asked us to do at first. After we pushed a bit, they finally delivered our luggage to our door. Finally, wifi was terrible - bad connection that disconnects often and very slow, and breakfast was not very good either!

Definitely not 5-star quality

This hotel was chosen due to its proximity to the factory. We checked in Dec 2012 about 9:00 pm. The hotel lobby was colder inside than outside. Staff and visitors were all bundled up. Turns out the lobby is NOT environmentally controlled. 
There was concern at check in that the room was going to be just as cold, but was only slightly warmer due to convection and insulation by other rooms. Our windows were left open, so some outside air was coming in. Took 3 hours for room to warm up. Had to use both comforters to stay warm until that time. Not good. The room was definitely old, considering how "new" this hotel was being touted. Shower was moldy.
The morning buffet was not very impressive. I went down at 7:00 am and they had a plate of fried eggs that had been sitting out for some time. As cold as it was in the lobby and the eating area, I am positive that the eggs were as cold as the air.
As I was sitting at the table, the air kicked on, pulling more cold outside are in to the lobby. This chilled it even more, to the point to where I could see my breath! I would avoid and stay at the Hyatt in future visits.
