In Hangzhou, the land is very valuable. The motel resemble the bed and breakfasts Motel. This small hotel across many places. There are two kinds of a building  high several layers and occupy a building in which some several layers. We live in the latter. There is small but perfectly formed. And the price is moderate. Room size is small but perfectly formed. We live in a room with a large double bed and a single bed, I really like this bed, it is moderate hardness and texture and comfortable, but the pillows that are too flat and thin. There will be provided two water every day, but very cheap bottled water so the water taste strange, I do not think it clean, kettles can boil water. I think security is very general, after all, the building has a different business, and ground floor there is no security. When back every night, I went back to the room door found pornographic cards, but it seems most Chinese hotels and inns will have this porn card. On both sides of the building, there is a convenience store, Chinese restaurants and bakeries. We will buy a lot of snacks in the room for eating snacks while watching the movie in the room. The television have a lot of movies and TV variety shows to choose from. In the morning, we ate lunch in the restaurant where we ate small steamed buns, beef noodles and fried packaged. 5-10 minutes’ walk subway station, bus and taxi, convenient transportation and nearby post office can send a postcard.

Internal environment is clean and comfortable and good service

Background: stayed here for three weeks as part of a student exchange program
Pros: generally clean, daily complimentary bottle water, bed, shower with hot water, good attitude, washing machines available
Cons: WiFi unstable, poor security (back door first floor always open and outsiders will slip cards advertising sexual services every night), air conditioner not very responsive, a bit small, lifts are a bit faulty

在杭州莫泰168酒店住了三个星期，总的来说还是不错啦。优点为房间卫生、每天有一瓶水、床舒服、有热水、前台的态度不错、12楼有一台免费洗衣机。缺点为WiFi不稳定、保安不好(一楼的后门一直没关和每晚都有人派色情卡)、房间偏小、电梯也不太稳定。

Sometimes you just need a place to rest your head and don't want to pay $100 a night.  This 168 is functional and clean and on weekdays the price goes as low as RMB 155 if you have a member's card (which is cheap itself).  Most of the time you don't need to pre-book, but if you want a weekend room or the cheapest room, you probably should.
I often complain about Chinese breakfasts in fancy hotels, but here for RMB 15 for a Chinese breakfast, it's a bargain.
One thing worth doing is getting acquainted with the TV.  You will have to battle Chinese characters, but if you persevere you will be rewarded with a few Hollywood movies and best of all, a huge selection of taped Premier League Football games.  For some reason, the most recent one seems to have English commentary, whereas most of the others are in Chinese.  Worth mucking through if you like football and fancy a lazy evening.
Oh, English is not spoken at all, so learn the Chinese words for the things you need- iron, extra water, etc.
