Modern, clean and family friendly accommodation.  Our room is spacious with all basic amenities.  First time I come across voice command android TV in the hotel room where I am staying.  Just set your voice access, if voice match is on, say a command such as "switch on/off the light", "open/close your curtains etc.  So thrilling!

The hotel is located near all the curiosities of Hangzhou and has all the commodities you need , but don't visit the restaurant prefer to go outside and choose one of the eating facilities around the hotel .

Good hotel , bad restaurant

Nice rooms providing good sleep. Very helpful restaurant staff and very friendly. No fridge or other facilities very business like but OK for a night then to move on . Looks luxurious and in a business district with nothing around.

New hotel nice rooms

Hotel near Lake very nice. Large room with large bathroom. Very nice dining and very good with local specialties. Chinese lunch but varied6 and in the form of a buffet. One can only regret that there is no European channel on TV but one can watch very instructive cooking lessons.

Hangzhou the beautiful

A terrible hotel. Drab, faded. Dim and grim. Reception staff who can't speak English.  Wanted me to pay for a map of the area. And the breakfast was the worst I've ever eaten in a hotel. Ever. Semi cold.  The staff have no idea of customer service. I can't wait to leave here.

Not a good experience 

November 7, 2017 -  We stopped at the Royal Lily Restaurant, 156 Shuguang Rd, Xihu Qu, Hangzhou Shi, Zhejiang Sheng, China, 310000.  The restaurant is inside of the Lily Hotel.

The restaurant is family Chinese style for lunch with a lazy susan in the middle of the table and various dishes around.  As the food circulates around the table, each person helps themselves to whatever they desire.

The decor was somewhat worn and the food choices were limited.  It was evident that the meal was just part of a requirement for the Nexus Travel Agency that organized our tour.

Still, there was enough food and variety to satisfy anyone.  It is not a place I would select to have dinner but as part of the tour and was included in our tour price, it was adequate.

Just an Average Lunch with Travel Group

Very nice hotel. Large room. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Everything is done to make you feel good. Various lunches, including for Westerners. In short: hotel to advise!

Extra

I liked location between West Lake and West Bus Station because we later continued to Mt. Huangshan. Hotel was kind of Chinese standard, no spirit, old and used furnishings but clean enough. Additional value was the bar just at the entrance to the hotel. Hundreds of foreign beers kept us up till late hours. Catching the cab was challenging in the morning.

Was taken here for lunch by the guide.  Walls, carpet and tablecloth all grubby, plates and glasses chipped.  No menu or choice of dishes available, food served of low quality with most left uneaten. A poor choice for lunch near West Lake, I am sure there must be better restaurants for tourists to visit in the area.

We only enjoyed the restaurant. There was little hygiene, both at the table (stained tablecloths, glasses and dirty cups) and in the toilets.
