Although this hotel looks like a modern tower from it's exterior, the room and interior facilities are actually old and outdated. We had multiple problems in the room we were assigned (shower walls literally falling off the walls; closet doors that would not slide open; safe that did not work; etc.) but were told that no other room was available and that no room with a queen or king-sized bed was available. This seemed odd in view of the fact that there appeared to be few guests in the hotel. The breakfast room was large, very brightly light and at times noisy with background music (something of a shock early in the morning). It featured a wide variety of foods geared to a Chinese clientele although we did discover on our last morning that omelettes could be produced in a hidden corner of the room.

The Faulty Towers of Harbin

After staying at this hotel, I thought I'd never want to live there again) But, there are obvious advantages, and when choosing a hotel (for exhibition participants) I'll stop my choice on it. Very convenient location, located in the exhibition complex, no need to move by transport (in the morning and evening there are large traffic jams). In the step-by-step accessibility of the Precross (this is a direct rescue), the coffee shop (Mac, Starbucks), across the road from a large shopping center with various restaurants.

For those who came to the exhibition

This business hotel is part of the Harbin Exhibition Complex, which is very convenient for visitors to the exhibition. The rooms, although a little tired, are comfortable. The food, although it has a wide range, is not much for lovers of euro-kitchen to choose from. There is a supermarket and good shopping centers nearby. There are plenty of places to eat for any taste: from Starbucks and McDonald's to Korean and Singaporean cafes.

It's a good hotel, very convenient for exhibitors.

The hotel has a very double impression. The normal rooms, clean, although the furniture is old, they put black/green tea in, clean every day. A good Swedish table, a large selection of dishes for any taste. Nearby is a circus, park and shopping center. About minutes. The staff hardly speaks English, but in the language of gestures and emotions can be explained :) The gym is not like the photo, there are no gymnasts.

Not five stars.

It's a great hotel! It's clean, it's beautiful, it's tasty, it's all good. We had breakfast in Sweden, we had lunch and dinner in other places, so I don't know) In the photo, my room is on the 24th floor, a restaurant on the 5th floor.

First time in Harbin

A huge hotel. Exhibition complex. The staff speaks only Chinese, but one of the three administrators usually understands English. There's no European breakfast. Internet in the room, WiFi in the public area. There's a Crossroads nearby, it's up to 22.

The Harbin Victories Hotel

The hotel is located next to the convention center and a mall which makes it a convenient location. The lobby looks fancy enough even though there is no place to seat. Beyond that, the hotel has seen better days and no way it should be listed as 5-star. The rooms were decent sized but the furniture was old. The closet door was broken, the safe did not work, the shower leaked, and the lamps had water stains. Perhaps the biggest drawback is the lack of wi-fi in the rooms, for a hotel meant for business this is a deal killer. It offers a breakfast buffet with good offerings for both eastern and western tastes. The staff is friendly but don't expect all to speak your language (which is fine).  

Convenient but average

Participated at a conference at this location.  Attached to Exhibition Center.  Hotel is terribly outdated and not very clean. Very challenging and unsatisfactory experience.  Linens soiled, bathrooms filthy.  Had a great deal of difficulty communicating with staff, who only spoke Chinese.  Very challenging and completely unsatisfactory experience.  Will not book again!

Not good!

Booked this hotel because the event that I'm attending was held in the convention center. The biggest letdown was no wifi available in rooms and it's only available at lobby area. Even that said, you can't sit at the bar area in the lobby as you'll have to order a drink. You will need to head over to the lobby area at the convention center to access wifi. In times and era like this, wifi has become a necessity and it's a must-have especially in hotel rooms. 
Location
It's convenient for the event I'm attending. Supermarket (Carrefour) available next to hotel and there's a shopping mall as well as KFC outlet. Taxi easily available and you just have to walk out towards the main road. No pick up available by hotel and my bad experience with airport taxi did not give ma a good impression of this city. I was cheated by the taxi driver who sent me to the hotel. There is a bus line available that stops at the exhibition center so you can opt to take the bus instead for RMB20.
Room
Furnitures slightly old and can do with some upgrade and maintenance. In room internet by LAN cable was fast but again, wifi would have been great. 
Breakfast
Seems that the hotel was under some renovation/maintenance as the breakfast was moved to the second floor of the exhibition center. Food option was fair enough and again, do not expect much of western breakfast in China. Do try out their local dishes. Nice dumplings and main dishes, not too bad. 
Staff
Staff was polite and helpful though there was a minor glitch during check out where they key in the wrong amount but I did not query much as it was a mere few cents difference but front desk staff should take note of this. It's not the amount that's of concern but attitude and professionalism by taking your job seriously. Hotel manager should look into this matter. 
If my event is held here again, might consider choosing this hotel again for convenience sake.

Wifi a letdown

Stayed there because the room was booked for us for short convention held in the hotel.
Getting into the room we found cigarette left over in the toilet , stained towels ( which were replaced upon our request only after 1-1/2 hours). The minibar did not function. The curtains were just horrible. Dust everywhere. The bed sheets were not clean , to say the least and we asked to change. The cleaning ladies clean the room "above surface" only. When you move the armchair or any other furniture , you find dust and filth that were left there for ages .
Conclusion : I do not know other hotels in Harbin but my only recommendation is : If you can - stay away from this hotel.
