Pros: good breakfast buffet (best tea cakes ever), good size and clean room, clean bathroom, warning system if you leave the room door open, decent wifi ; also, the hotel can arrange pretty decently priced cars for transportation, including outisde the city.

Cons:
- it's on a streeet parallel with the train track, so you keep hearing those passing trains pretty loud and clear (even when your room is on 20 something floor). But if you're not a light sleeper then you're fine. 
- minibar selction could be improved;
- the room had only a shower which made bathing our infant an adventure

At any rate, in spite of all the cons, the hotel employees were extremely solicituous and really tried to make us feel at home. If there's anything one needs, they are more than eager to help. Once again, congrats!

This is one of the better hotels that I have stayed at in Jingmen.  Free wifi in lobby and LAN internet access in the rooms.  The beds are comfortable and bathroom clean.  Staff are friendly and even though not all speak English they do try to help and understand.  If I spoke more Mandarin life would be easier, but Westerners are still a bit of a novelty in Jingmen so totally understandable.  If I could provide feedback, it would be to get the carpets cleaned in the rooms, otherwise pretty good.

Good for a regional centre

Hotel is an about 2 hour drive from Wuhan airport and an about 1 hour drive from Yichang airport.

Hotel is quite new and with the usual facilities. Beds are quite soft - reasonable - for Chinese standards. Comfortable.
Bathroom has a walk in shower. Water quantity is good.

Electric plugs are next to the bed and the desk - good.

Heating worked well and the room was warm, even at 1 °C outside

Internet is LAN based and quite fast and free of charge.

Breakfast was lousy, some toast, but no toaster oven, butter or jam. Only Chinese breakfast is available. Orange juice was not drinkable. 

Staff spoke some English - enough for check in and out.

Elevators are very slow and for sure not enough for this size hotel. You also hear everything that is going on on the corridor and the room next to you. 

TV I did not try.

So for a small town a good place. 

Message to housekeeping - you can use a vacuum cleaner to clean the floor. - The carpet was really dirty.
