It's located at Shuhe Ancient Town which is few minutes walk way from the guesthouse. Clean ans superb room provided and their staff is very helpful to resolve our itineracy during our 3D2N stay at LiJiang and even introduce a reliable Tibetan driver for our next day 5D4N trip at Shangri-La & MeiLi. Beautiful and comfort stay environment and there is a cutie husky dog in front of the garden yard. We have a wonderful moments at there.

beautiful ancient yard & superb room

My friend and I were in Kunming, Shangri-La and Lijiang from 30.04.2015 to 09.05.2014. Altogether, we stayed in 3 different hotels. I chose this Inn due to the rave reviews found in Agoda and Tripadvisor. I was so excited when we reached Lijiang. To my utter disappointment, I found that this Inn lacked in many areas save and except for the location which is within close proximity to the old town of Shuhe. The room we stayed in was dirty. The carpet was old and stained. Hair could be found all over the carpet and behind the bathroom door.

The reception / front desk has no proper table as normally found in other hotels. Instead the staff used a low table as the reception.

We stayed for 3 nights and we were not given any mineral or bottled water. We only found out that we could take some mineral water from a machine placed in a corner beside the reception. Tissue papers were also not provided. The room was not cleaned daily. We noticed that the only "housekeeping" done by the Inn was throwing the rubbish from the bin. Even the bed was made "simply", a job that could be done by a child. 

Out of the 2 staff we met, we only noticed one of them is welcoming and friendly. The other who professed that she is able to speak English is quite lukewarm in her mannerism. I would expect a B n B to be managed by people who are not only friendly but also welcoming.

Highly Anticipated But Deeply Disappointed

Wonderful hotel, we like everything here. The house looked like ancient Chinese building.Great staff speak pretty good English.Staff was very attentive and will help in any situation.  Location is good, easy to take bus and taxi. They also recommended us a good driver, a nice native. Wide choices for breakfast, western and Chinese.There is also a super market to buy supplies for day trip. A great place.

Good hotel, will return

Kind staff went out their way to make our honeymoon special with personal touches and fantastic service. We like the yard, traditional Naxi building, with many beautiful flowers and plants. Room is cute and comfortable, warmly decorated. Clean bathroom and hot water. Breakfast was tasty and good value, also we had many choices. They can also provide fantastic coffee and cappuccino. Worth a try. Excellent internet wifi connectivity, available with good signal. Overall, a comfortable stay. Will come back!

Nice staff on reception

Wangjia is conveniently located just outside suhue old town's north gate.  Walking to the old town is just a few minutes away.  They offer Chinese tea facilities and food as well. Taxi service can also be easily arranged.
