Affordable, comfortable, available for last-minute booking. First bottle of water free. Roses on the beds. A little eerie but no nightmares in the end. Staff didn’t speak English. Download a voice translator on your phone.

The really good point of this hotel is the location, smack in the center of Luoyang.
Rooms (and hallways) would welcome a refurbishment (even only changing the carpets would improve the situation). Room was big enough, wi-fi quick, a desktop computer was available in the room (although Internet was slow). No safe was available, and, strangely, no wardrobe, a multi-arm coat-hanger was available instead.
The bed was comfortable, and quality of the sleep good.
Breakfast was mainly Chinese food, but also with toasts butter and jam.
I believe it could be classified as a 3-star hotel, where a price of 300~350 RMB/day would represent acceptable value for money.
I wouldn't complain about staff attitude, as that was in line with what you see in so many other hotels of the same level in China.

Average choice in the center of Luoyang

We was booked in this hotel for two nights, but we managed only to stay there one night.
The room was filthy smelling of urine, and I do not want to think about what was living in the carpet. The staff could not speak or understand English, so there was not any help to get.
The only good thing was the location, but that is not a good reason for booking this hotel
And by the way there are free condoms on the tapels next to the bed

You will regret if you book this hotel

I can give you advice, because I liked it. Quickly placed, comfortable and soft bed and a quiet normal sleep. Brought breakfast. Various enough, and in a national style. Travelled as a tourist and was very pleased with the price and the service. Thank you to the hotel!

It's a good hotel.

EXTREMELY RUDE, CARELESS STAFF THAT CANNOT SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH. 

Arrived at the hotel and they had no clue whatsoever of our reservation. 4 staff members had no idea and had to call their manager, who speaks very little English. It was very frustrating that they did not know about the reservation, but especially annoying if you are trying to communicate this to people who do not speak English.

After wasting about 1hr, we were finally led to our room. Had to change our room because they gave us a small room and we could not even open our luggage. The second room was much better. It was a bit cold but cannot complain much about the room itself. The computer was a nice touch for those who does not travel with a laptop.

The main complain is about their staff. At all times, there were 3-4 receptionists present, and cannot even understand simple words like, "bathroom" or "taxi". It was simply ridiculous. 

On our last day (After check out) we wanted to use the bathroom. It was on the 4th floor, and basically what it was, was a staff cleaner closet and it had a sink for the mop, and a hole on the ground. Is this what they offer as a bathroom for the guests????? I have seen many toilets in China, and I have to say that it was the WORST toilet I have seen in my entire life and have opted to hold it until the train station.

On our way out, we made the mistake of saying "goodbye" to the reception staff, and one boyfriend of the female receptionist (young lady with short hair) gave us the middle finger!!!!!!!
Simply disgusted by their behavior. Take a very good lesson in staff management. Please travel somewhere outside Luoyang and teach your staff better. 

This is a "Wannabe" business hotel with 0 professionalism.

STAY AWAY.

The Bohemia is a very nice hotel furnished in Baroque style and very neat in detail. The room is not of normal size rather small, but clean. The bathroom is very small and very close to the bed. Breakfast is served in a raised space in the hall. Breakfast is in Chinese style. At the reception they did not speak English, but the Manager present spoke it and gave us good advice on what to visit in Luoyang.

Good hotel to visit the caves of Longmen and Luoyang.

The room that I had was really small and there was hardly any space to walk, let alone put down your luggage. Shower was TINY, and the door was placed in such a way that the showerhead faces it directly, causing the water to overflow out of the shower area and flow into the room. So what they do is the adjust to the showerhead to the left, towards the wall. But on the wall they fixed the soap and shampoo dispenser which gets in your way. Really not smart at all. 

The switches in the room were all touch pad electronics. Good touch there, but they really need to work on their bathrooms. There's also no door to the bathroom, just a curtain. They try to make the hotel room bohemian, but the bathroom is so militant. 

The main irritant was their key card. For the 3 nights I stayed there, every evening when we comeback from my tour, the key card doesn't work anymore and we had to go to the reception to get it activated. Even when we complain about it and they know our room was prepaid, they can't rectify that. 

The amenities are also not replaced after we had finished. Had to inform the reception 3 times before they were replenished. 

The only thing going for this hotel is that it's just at the end of a major shopping street.
