Spent three nights with Quanzhou hotel with my friend in April.  Being the first time in Quanzhou, my friend had to recommend this hotel to me.  We stayed at this executive room at Nanxin plaza, the newer wing.  

It was a big room and very orientally decor with dark wood.  The room and bed were comfy.  

Service staff are friendly, especially 小潘和小彭。 they were helpful in assisting us with our checkout — my friend continued to stay on n had to change room -/ they ensured that she had the change seamlessly.  They also helped us patiently with the payment issue as well as I opted to pay in cash instead at the last minute.  🙏

Needless to complain about the location.  It was so near to the buzzing 西街 and other sights. So convenient!  

Comfy stay at Quanzhou hotel

Booked this hotel because of the positive reviews. And it is true to what the reviewers have mentioned. Booked this hotel without the breakfast. 
Room is good. Good layout. Nice Clean comfortable beds. Welcome with Fruit basket. Conveniently located -walking distance to several tourist places.
Friendly and thoughtful staff. Hotel will assist with getting taxi to the Quanzhou HSR station.

Stay Here when iN Quanzhou

Stayed there for three nights. A good business hotel, even location is good. Easily got the cabs from there. Hotel people arrange them for you if you tell them to do so. Even you can exchange currency from there.
They have a Asian Chef who make nice parathas, rather a variety of them. Really relished it !
Overall nothing to complain !

A Good Business Hotel !

The hotel is in the old town within easy reach of many attractions, including Qingjing Mosque, Confucius Centre, shops and restaurants.  The room was big and clean, staff were friendly, although with limited English.  The breakfast buffet is extensive serving Chinese and western food.  There are also three other restaurants in the complex, but we only ate at the thai restaurant, off the main lobby.  Service was a little chaotic but the food was delicious.

Great location and good food

I was visiting Quanzhou for just a few hours, between other cities. After being unable to find luggage storage at the train station and my taxi driver refusing to be hired for the day, the staff at the Quanzhou Hotel graciously agreed to hold my luggage for the day so I could explore their city. Very kind and generous!

Very kind staff to a visiting traveler

I stayed in the North Tower which reportedly was the newer section.  My overall experience was very good.  The room size was very good and there was a welcome basket of fresh fruit and rice crackers. Bed was very comfortable and there were enough electrical outlets to re-charge my phone and laptop.  Receptions service was very good and staff spoke fair to good English.  Breakfast buffet was average and had mostly Chinese menu items but also had some fruit, cereal and bread.  Wifi service was good but this being China, a number of web sites were blocked.

Paid around 600rmb for the hotel.
Hotel is old but location is good.
You can walk to some shops for clothes and supermarket is 1 minute away.
Why I give is 3 stars because the staff is not very affluent in English.
Breakfast is good for foreigners in the new wing.
Free internet.

Business visit

Nice location. Good breakfast although they can make some improvement with varying it from day to day. It is reasonably clean but the lighting is a bit dim. The staff are helpful. Overall, an OK experience.

Value for money

This hotel has Old Wing and New Wing.  I stayed in the Old Wing and facing a wall 1 m in front of me.  The room is not really clean and the decoration is dated.  Lighting is not enough.  The good thing is the breakfast which is served in the other wing.

The Old Wing is really POOR

It's a great hotel. There's fresh fruit in the room, there's a good restaurant in the hotel building, there's a swimming pool.
