We stayed in two-bedroom family suite, which is quite big, clean, they change towels every day, the stuff is friendly and helpful. The property is 5-10 minutes slow walk from the beach. The pool is clean. The breakfast is typical chinese buffet, nothing special, but eatable. :)

Value for money

Only the fact, that this hotel is situated next to the most premium beach resort area in Sanya and, as well, costs much and much lower vs other neigborhood (especially with a first beach line), makes it to be considerable option for booking. Other things to emphasize: 1) Big and clean rooms. They are cleaned perfectly every day 2) Staff (even with no English) is really friendly and help to solve any issues (e.g. additional blanket, to bring us a chair into the room, to help with some WC issues urgently etc.) 3) Cute swimming pool in a hotel garden 4) Free microbus to the beach about 4-5 times a day 5) Hotel is on a big road: it gives an ability to get nearly any bus next to the entrance, and, at the same time, you don't hear a road sounds from the pool area or from the room 6) Two shops area are in 5-10 minutes walking (incl. restaurants, ATM, rental, supermarket, fruits etc.) 7) Seafood restaurant in a hotel

All negatives are rather relative - consider, if they are important for you or not: 1) Not the first beach line - about 10 mins walking 2) No elevator (three floors in total) 3) Breakfast is really traditional chinease, even not an adapted chinese cuisine for europeans. By it depends on your taste certainly 4) In some rooms (I think, rather with a swimming pool view) WC is inside a room, with partly frosted glass walls. At the same time in our room Bath and WC was a really bathroom (independend room) 5) In case of strong night winds outside, entrance door and window make an annoying knocking sound 6) There are lot of charged food&beverages items in a room, including water on a table (not in Minibar!) 7) Staff has nearly no capabilities in English-speaking (but they call some person by mobile, which translates, not perfectly unfortunately) 8) NOT RELATED TO THIS HOTEL DIRECTLY: if you stay not on the first beach line, you have no own sunbeds and umbrellas (nearly all are first line hotels property). So either you can use some sunbeds rentals (they seem to be really small...), try to reach an agreement with some first line hotel staff for a sunbed rental or... just to use own mat :)

Value-for-money solution in premium resort area

This place has great potential as it is just getting started. The restaurant owners are the best part of the place. They were very helpful especially since they had perfect English. They prepared a nice breakfast although it would have been nice to have some variety.  Dinner is available and they specialize in Italian cuisine. Quite good and reasonably priced. Relaxing place to sit.
Very little in the way of amenities are included in our room( even had to pay for water!) but the rooms were nice and clean. The grounds are a work in progress and need sprucing up. Had free wifi.
 Overalll good value for the money as it is close to beach and is on bus route to Sanya, Dandong Bay and Haitong Bay. Also close to mall. Avoid Peking Duck restaurant in mall. Also Caddie not too helpful. Asked her to help with tours and she said to look on website. Also arranged transportation from airport at 200 rmb. Later found out going rate is 80!!
