The Bahamas holiday hotel is a well maintained and clean hotel. The rooms are clean, tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. There are some essential furniture, a minibar, and television in the rooms. The bed was soft with adequate bedding material. The sheets were changed every day and it made us feel good. The bathroom was decent and had a good supply of necessary toiletries. The service was excellent. The staffs were warm, polite, welcoming and friendly. The food served was fine. We adored the crystal clear swimming pool. The swimming experience was relaxing and highly enjoyable.

Nice experience staying at this hotel

This big problem with this hotel, is that's it's in the middle of nowhere! A taxi or bus is needed to get to the city centre. The buses are fun though, and for 1 Yuan any trip, it's an experience and good value, if you don't mind being stared at by the locals if you're a westerner! Smile though and you get a smile back!

Building work is being carried out at this hotel at the moment...jack-hammers, drills, banging of all sorts...not very pleasant...so check to see if it's finished before booking. On the plus side there is a nice, large swimming pool and the rooms are also large and modern and the aircon is great. Watch out for the ceiling shower, as it floods the whole bathroom. We had to fix a 'dam' of towels to stop the flooding....obviously the workmen never thought of placing the drain on a slope!

This hotel is classed as a 4* but by western standards it's only 3. The restaurant doesn't even provide evening meals and there's no iron provided, not even to rent! Complimentary water and newspapers as advertised do not exist!

I wouldn't recommend this hotel, as there must be better ones around for the price, it's not a finished article at the moment and is pretty soulless.
