I vist the Netherlands regularly. I thought I’d go to Zaandsvoort 22 years after my first visit.

Fabulous little seaside town and the prices are bit more reasonable.(still not cheap)

The hotel staff were great, they serviced my room every morning to a great standard, it’s peaceful (which is important to me) and clean. For the price it was perfect. I never had breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

If you’re looking to travel or go to Amsterdam I can’t tell you enough to stay outside of the city. You will get a much higher standard of hotel and staff. 

Also the Netherlands is very small so you’re never more than 30/40 mins on the train to anywhere. (Tram services are also cheap and punctual)

Fantastic place.

After a good breakfast, we went back for dinner, we  ordered several warm tapas.&salad.The crispy chicken salad was very yummy. I lovd it with my pineapple mango smothies. My hubby and my 3 nieces love their calamaris and salmon too.

Review breakfast & dinner

Hotel highly recommended. Gentle, cheerful staff, very available. Room with balcony at the top to relax and enjoy the view of the walk on the main road. Room furnished in a very nice and relaxing marine style. Breakfast included with outdoor tables where to spend time enjoying breakfast Sign it only, for those who have problems, steep stairs and lack of minibar and air conditioning. For us they are not particularly important but I prefer to communicate it.

Relax at sea

The hotel is located in the middle of the pedestrian zone in an old building. The rooms are quite large and bright. The room to the main street has a great balcony for this is the noise pollution is greater. Before 11:30 it is not quiet. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. A parking ticket for the blue zone can be solved for 10 euros per day at the reception.

Central location in historic building

Nice little hotel very centrally located, but still very quiet. But you could renovate the hallway to the rooms. Very friendly staff, good breakfast.

Nice short trip.

We just ate and didn't see the hotel. That's why only 4 points! Only the restaurant earned 5 points! Very cozy and price/performance fits! Brunch and afternoon items were there!! All very well!

The restaurant is very nice and romantic. However, we waited 45 minutes for our meal to arrive! Nevertheless, the staff is still listening.

Delicious but expected

Yesterday I went here to eat a 3 course meal and it kinda sucked. I started with a carpaccio and my companion had some bread, I’ll add a foto of the carpaccio, they made it quite sure to me this is how it is supposed to look. Never seen something like it in a restaurant of been treated so poorly I had to pay for it. The salmon and spareribs were ok and dessert was alright as well to be fair. 

Sucky experience go somewhere else in the neighborhood (I’m Dutch and a frequent visitor of Zandvoort, you can get wat better for the same or less €)

Ok food and staff

This is a good place to eat and to sit and watch the world go by. It is right on the beach so in an excellent location. They serve excellent hot chocolate! The staff were helpful and efficient and the prices were good

A great place for coffee and pancakes

My 15-year-old son and I had a double room on the first floor. The stairs upstairs are a little narrow and steep and the stairs are very short, so it's a little difficult to climb with luggage, but the room was very spacious, clean and modern with a nice balcony and a view of the colorful driveway. Still, we could sleep well. At night and in the morning it was very quiet. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the business life of Zandvoort. If you don't like the hassle, you're in the wrong place (especially in the main season). We liked it very well. Very nice shops and shopping and a short walk to the lovely beach promenade.
