Being on business trip out from Qingdao in Zhucheng.  The Hotel in the town, parking outside, spacious rooms a bit smelly from smoking. Decent overnight average in countryside hotel 🏨. Local breakfast 🍳 and bit struggle on reception when not cleaning Chinese 

Countryside’s hotel 🏨 

In the little busy tiwn Zhucheng you find a bed in a busy hotel  which has come a bit in his years. With help of your Chinese colleagues the reception and the room service understand what you want and then they help you as they can. 

AC in the room is a miracle.

Don"t try breakfast between 7.00 and 8.00. Ant heep feeling.

Busy place for businers

I stayed here for 1 night for business.  I flew into Qingdao airport on a Monday early afternoon and it was about a 1.5 hour drive to get to the hotel.
This is a typical Chinese style hotel, with a huge lobby and high ceilings.  There is a restaurant inside the hotel that serves decent food (for an American palate) and offers good service.
The room was comfortable for the most part and the WIFI reliable.  The shower offers the rain shower head which was nice.
The gym on the top floor had treadmills, a flat bench press with barbell, and other machines.  I was able to get a good workout in, but there is no air conditioning, and during the hot summer months, I was drenched in sweat after 5 minutes.  Be sure to bring your own water and towel as they do not provide either.
Breakfast was very good and offered many different Chinese and Western options.
I had a short stay here but it was comfortable and good value at $57.74 USD for 1 night.

Comfortable stay

This hotel is in a good location in Zhucheng and is clean and in good repair. The receptionist spoke English and was very helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and with good amenities.  Breakfast is a large buffet with several Western choices. Wifi is excellent and the gym was a welcome surprise.  However it didn’t provide water or towels so you need to take those with you from your room.  One of the best hotels I’ve found in a regional Chinese city.

Good value hotel

I stayed here in 2013, and it has gone from bad to worse.

They boast to be a luxury hotel; but is a disaster.

The room was totally dirty, and everything is neglected and falling apart, and bathroom wooden furniture is full of mold 

Amenities are close to zero, soap costs money (otherwise you use some watery detergent from a dirty dispenser) Well the only luxury Amenities are bathrobe and slippers.

Mattress is very hard, impossible to sleep.
Internet free, but bandwidth unusable.

I was there in middle of summer heat, and no air-condition was not working. They changed my room, but it was the same disaster.

Water pressure was so bad, that I had to skip the shower.

There isn’t a single worker in the hotel that speaks English. Moreover, even the signs at the hotel is impossible to understand, (see the attached picture).
