We stayed at the Seaview Apartment on the International Beach. We liked the area very much, next to a bunch of cafes, the beach across the road from the hotel (transport traffic was not lively), the bus stop next door. The breakfast in the hotel was fine, a great selection of dishes.

Beach vacation in Weyhai

The ocean view from rooms facing the ocean is magnificent. The beach is 50 meters from the hotel, and it is an amazing beach (yes, packed with Chinese tourists enjoying themselves, but only a few actually swimming). The staff at the hotel is really friendly, with Mr.Sun, the manager, deserving special praise for his attention and competence. A really good place for those interested in the beach experience. That said, you have to be realistic: the language barrier can be serious, the quality of services and infrastructure is good Chinese average - if you need more, you'll have to go to pricier places.

They all got a room on the 14th floor and they all got a room with a view of the park and some unfinished area near the hotel itself, explaining that the rooms with a view of the sea are more expensive. The hotel is super nice by the sea but unfortunately it was already! I-net is too slow and unreliable! Staff is average - but the rooms are quite clean! Service is ok and corresponds to the price/performance ratio! In Weihai there are better business hotels!
