We have stayed in building 9 (5 years ago) it's very grand, has everything including the best western breakfast in Shandong and you pay for it. This time we stayed in building 1, the rooms are almost the same, and come with a shower and a bath, the complete tea making and drinking equipment and a refrigerator, this last item I have seldom found in any hotel in China in my 6 years of touring,I think the only other is the "Happy Meet Hotel" in Nanning. The restaurant was great, with a large range of fresh local seafood at cheaper than reasonable prices, but even better was the chef who would cook anything you wanted, the way you wanted it cooked. Other great things for you, may be the fact that you can leave the air conditioner on when you go out, so your room welcomes you back home or the private beach, 2 outdoor swimming pools plus 1 or 2 indoor pools, but the best was the seafront garden, with scenic paths winding through flowers and fruit trees, with 2 picnic areas and many great views of the sea. You must be wondering "are there any bad points", Yes, but as far as I could tell, there is is only one, but its a big one, there is no elevator. Our room was on level 2, and my heavy case was a bit of hard work, there is a level 3 and maybe a level 4.
