For the money I couldn't fault this hotel. It is located right on the river front in Wenzhou almost directly opposite the ferry which made it super convenient for escaping into the mountains to the north. Reading other reviews had made me fear breakfast, but it really wasn't too bad.

Great Value & Good Location

There is only one who can speak in English in the reception, but her english is pretty good and she is very friendly. The rooms are ok , but didn't like the breakfast spread. The quality of food could be better. Its facing a huge river , which is breezy through out the year. The staff are pretty friendly and will try to help you , even though language is a problem with most of them. Over all a great place if you are looking for a decent budget hotel with a great view.

Good Value

First of all ... just a lady at the reception speaks english. It looks so strange to go to China and to face such a problem in a big city. Nevermind ... the hotel is accettable and finally cheap. The location is just in front of the river and finally nice. Breakfast is rich but too Chinese oriented for the western.  By the way ... all is ok ... I'll be back soon

Acceptable 

The room was fantastic, we were on the top floor facing the river, the view at night was beautiful. The bed was completely luxurious and comfy! The only things that I will say is that the staff spoke no English, which made it very difficult but I can't really complain too much about that, and we left our "Do not disturb" light on when we went out the first day because we didn't want anyone to go into the room and when we returned they had clearly ignored this and gone in to clean regardless. It was also very expensive! So it was great overall, just not as great as you'd expect for the money.

Great rooms.

This hotel is good.  The location is very refreshing, both daytime and nightime.  Almost everyone speaks English in the reception area.  Staff is very courteous. The food in the restaurant is delicious although a bit oily, most of the time.  This hotel is surrounded by good restaurants, although out of the way for shopping.
