Contrary to what their information says we did not come across any staff that spoke any English. They were quite unfriendly and not very willing to help. Be aware that to check in you are required to leave a deposit in cash and also pay for the room while you are checking in. This was all very difficult to understand due to the staff not speaking English and resulted in them rather rudely shoving our passports, room key and receipts back into our hands with the feeling of just wanting to get rid of us. Check out was also a bit odd as we had to wait 10 minutes to get our deposit back while one of the receptionists left without any explanation. We believe she actually went to check on our room.
We did not feel very welcome.

Great room but unhelpful staff

location in the middle of wuhan city centre. you can had most of the nice local food and shopping mall within you walking distance. And at night, the street will full of roadside food and stall. the MRT station is about half Km away.
the hotel staff are most friendly and helpful, the room are nicely decorated, large and clean. But the room cleaning and service need to improve. I will stay in this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel just off Jianghan Pedestrian Street for 3 nights, on the 4th floor. 
Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again. 
The reception staff were very friendly and check-in was easy. They also assisted us with booking some train tickets and taxis. 
The rooms were very large with large bathrooms also, and very clean by Chinese hotel standards. They had everything you needed including a large comfortable bed, desk, good AC, wi-fi and a small kitchenette with some fruit and small snacks provided. 
Basic Chinese breakfast was adequate and included in the room price. 
We were able to wash our clothes in the hotel laundry for free, also, which was very useful. 
Fantastic location off pedestrian street, close to two large subway stations, many shops and restaurants, and night markets on nearby laneways. 
Very good value for money, we would recommend.

Large, comfortable rooms in Wuhan

We stayed for 4 nights.
We were provided with fruit in the evening, simple Chinese breakfast and room service with a smile.
We were able to wash our clothes in a washing machine on site. Even though there is little English spoken, all staff went out of their way to help us.
Wifi was great as well as it was strong and consistent.
This was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in and everything worked.
Tomolo is close to a great shopping mall which is lively with all sorts of activities each night. 
A bakery is nearby with tasty pastries and excellent coffee with the staff prepared to work out what you want.
Tomolo also is situated on an eatery street with great street food which has the friendliest stall holders.
We loved how we could wander for blocks and enjoy the daily comings and goings of the locals as well as enjoy the architecture.

Incredibly comfortable place to stay

Nice mixture of Chinese and Scandinavian décor makes one feel like home with a twist. Rooms are relatively large, light and decorated with taste. View from our rooms was rather authentic. Staring at the neighbouring balconies cannot be considered as a view but it was fun for few days. Feels more like being part of the town. There is nothing like connecting with the locals over morning tea.

Breakfast is traditional Chinese buffet with fried noodles, warm orange juice, eggs, pies, rice bread and cakes. Food is excellent and missing only coffee which is not surprising in China. Luckily there is a coffee shop on the shopping street around the corner where caffeine junkies can have their fix. 

We got a discount after the internet discount so the stay was well worth the money. For the three weeks we stayed in China we never quite figured out from where the discounts came. Tomolo was definitely a refreshing exception during our trip.
