The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the Chunxi Road underground station.  There are two entrances for two different Atour hotel at a corner by two roads perpendicular to each other. But you wouldn't miss anyone you booked as the staff will help you.  

The hotel has a culture type of deco and provides a library like cafe on its 2nd floor. The room deco is warm, bed is firm and bathroom amenities are good quality. The employees are always caring and actively assisting to serve your needs.  

Just outside the hotel is a main road you can easily get taxi to anywhere or to the airport.  Around the hotel there are restaurants,  department stores and 5 minutes walk to a vehicle free shopping district.  Recommend to travellers seek for a value and warm service stay.

Good Value Excellent Service

Lovely hotel that is definitely Chinese based - a real plus to those not looking to stay in Western oriented hotels. The view of the wall from our room was incredible. Loved the small touches, like the tea service set up on the window seat like area.  The only negative was the poor shower stall design which allowed water to flood into the bathroom. But - by placing the shower head in a different direction, we quickly learned how to minimize the flooding.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a huge selection of Chinese dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Lovely Hotel Near the City Wall

Just outside the spectacular city walls, near to shops, restaurants and metro. Very good location.

Modern hotel, all very new and shiny. Our family room had two big, comfortable double beds and was spacious enough, though we only slept and ate breakfast in the hotel, being out all day sightseeing. 

Staff do not speak English, so be prepared with a translation app. 

We asked hotel reception for a minivan to airport which was disastrous. Each time we nervously asked how much longer, using a translation app, we were told to sit down and wait. The female receptionist was rather fed up. When it eventually showed up, 45 minutes late, it was a standard car, not a minivan. Worse still, the boot was mostly occupied by some kind of gas tank, leaving almost no space for suitcases. Totally unsuitable for airport transfers!

Realising that we may miss our plane if we wait for another, we headed to the nearby metro station. There is a train to somewhere near the airport where you can transfer to an express airport bus. This is best way to travel. We should have done this first, then we would not have missed our plane!


Modern, clean, good location 

The key thing about this hotel is its location. Directly by the South gate, it is perfect for being able to walk to many of the key attractions such as the bell and drum towers, muslim quarter and also to get onto the wall itself.

During events such as Chinese new year, this is also where they place the decorations on the wall and outside of the gate.

The room itself is comfortable and clean. Well presented and has all the amenities you would need. 

It is disappointing that the rooms do not have baths and the view is slightly obscured by poorly placed A/C units on the outside of the building.

The staff are pleasant and due to there being no option to purchase a room with breakfast included (that I could see), I did not end up trying the food.

There are many places nearby where you can get food easily in the morning.

The staff are good at organising cars to different places but it tends to be quite expensive compared to Didi.

Best location for walking around the city

The hotel is centrally located, right across from the South gate and a few steps from the subway station. We took a cab from the train station to the hotel (~60 rmb) and a cab back to the airport for 160 rmb (a little over an hour cab ride). The room is very modern and clean. There is also a separate traditional tea seating area within the room. We had views to the South gate, which was nice. Lots of Chinese food is provided for breakfast. You can also have fried egg, fruit, sausage, or cereal. The staff is friendly and they helped us with our luggage. There is a fancy shopping mall nearby that has many restaurants on the lower level as well as a grocery store. The restaurants looked good but unfortunately we found this place right before we were leaving town, so didn't get to eat there. I would definitely stay here again.
