End of December my friend and me stayed one night in this inn, it was law season and I think we were the only guests there.when we arrived there were labors constructing a building but there was no disturb in a rest time. Very helpful stuff that could speak English well and they did solved our problem with exchange. Specially a young man that we met him at night in the street and he started a warm talk with us while he was off from reception. Very helpful lady in the early morning to take a taxi for us. Room was ver clean with tea and coffee facility, and very nice view from balcony. The break fast was a bit simple but ok! The only problem we had was a bathroom, the drain was blocked and all the water went out to the room. We inform the ladies in the reception, no one came to solve the problem. We checked out and we we happy that we took shower at the last second otherwise...!the photo is the view from room.

Good and could be better

Spent three nights here ,although the building is a little old it’s in a fantastic spot in Fenghuang away from the noisy hotels and guesthouses on the river , if you get a balcony room you get a fantastic view of the river itself and just a short walk down a few steps and you’re in the centre of this beautiful old town .the rooms are very clean shower is hot  and the staff are really helpful and speak English

Excellent

We had started in another hotel inside the city but it was dreadful. Finding the Yinji was heaven sent. The staff are English speaking and very friendly and super helpful. It is located just outside the city but is within an easy walk to the old part of town ... A couple of minutes to one of the main bridges into the town and a few more minutes to the centre of the town. The location also includes a fabulous view of the river, pagoda and central bridge...it is a perfect view in the daylight and is even more impressive when all the lights are on in the night. We were on the floor up from reception (303) and had a balcony where it would be lovely to sit in the warmer months. The bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water. The waste water drain is a little slow to let out the water so be mindful of the slippery floor.  The room had controllable central AC, which made it warm and cozy during the snowy month we were there. There was a Tv and kettle. A good place to hang coats and a bench and bedside tables for other bits. There were plenty of power plugs too for the electrical gadgets we all seem to have these days. We had a great stay and would recommend it. Mid range price but much better than average accommodation.

Beautiful old town

This hotel is lovely! It has a superb elevated view over the town and river. It's a 2 minute walk from the old town but it's actually really nice being just outside of it so you can escape the maddening crowds. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The room was good. Highly recommend.
