I stayed two nights and was really surprised about quite some features which should not be at all standard - at least not based on my last twenty plus years experience traveling in CN and Asia. I have never experienced tables in a Shangri-La lobby fully of cigarette butts not been cleaned for hours - the same was valid for the ash trays next to the elevators which at least have not been cleaned between my arrival and my departure (1.5 days). Service in the breakfast restaurant was also not high end - neither was the service in the gym. Maybe the hotel is overloaded or overwhelmed by tourist groups during that period in the year. As a business traveller, I would even not grant the hotel a Traders grade - it is really a put as so far I had many good experiences with Shangri-La Group all over China and in Singapore as well. Management may have to reassess the entire value proposition ...

Unfortunately not at the well-known Shangri-La quality level

We had two wonderful nights at the Shangri-la Yangzhou. Especially, The staff at the horizon club were very kind and helpful which makes our stay memorable. Our room has a beautiful view of the Mingyue Lake and the swimming pool is nice and relaxing.
I am born and raised in Yangzhou but after so many years abroad I come back a stranger. The warm hospitality really makes me home, in my hometown.

Warm hospitality

Warn and nice staff from reception desk to Executive Lounge. Make my Christmas much nicer.  Room service staff also nice and do whatever possible to make guest like home.

People in this town in general are nice and friendly.

Third time here and first time in shangri la - this is a great hotel with excellent facilities. 
I had the buffet on 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast is also very good - lots of choice and friendly staff wiling to assist at all times. 
Staff at the front desk are great. Many of them dual language speakers (English) so made it easy for me to communicate. 
I used the pool which was very clean and relatively quiet. They have lockers with towels and toiletries on hand - hairdryer and shampoo in changing rooms. 
Overall - I had an excellent experience and would return ! 

Great place to stay in Yangzhou 

It’s very good stay in the hotel. Very commercial and nice location beyond the moon lake. 
Good relax in the vip lounge. Kinds of food and best view. Happy to meet lovely waitress Mandy & Lisa. Help me a lot on the tourney plan and restaurant choose.

Very good experience

I stay in the hotel. Everything was very nice. Especially the ladies Dora, Jessica and siren in the horizon club were very nice. You can work there quite good.

The gym is very well equipped. 

In total a very nice Hotel.

Very nice servive

We were here to have a relaxing trip and yet again received a wonderful welcome and excellent service. Especially, we were treated with kindness and warmth by the club lounge staffs, Dora and Lucky. Thank you!

Lovely Hotel

Average hotel. Rooms are a bit worn out, but still somehow acceptable. 

The Lobby bar is lacking most of the stuff displayed on the menu: No gin tonic, only limited beers, most of the red wines not available. 

A simple platter of sushi took over 30 min. 

Breakfast is average to ok. 

However, room rates are cheap. You get what you pay. 

Sorry to say that this property does not live up to the usually high standards of Shangri-La.

Stayed here for business and conference. Room was spacious, clean and bathroom was very good. Although I was close to lift there was limited noise heard from lift. Television as expected had limited English language programs. Restaurant offered a good selection of food and coffee was reasonable. 

Clean comfortable hotel

Services request at commercial office for additional color printing, Jessica as a service girl at 26 floor, she did a excellent job and completed all my request without any mistake. I gave her my appreciation. I hope I can see her next time when I come back to this hotel in Yangzhou again. Thank you Jessica.
