This hotel was the best I've been to on my trip in China! You get everything you need and some extra details on top (for example the fruits which were waiting in my room when I returned in the evening)! The people were super friendly (I guess this hotel is run by a family) and always willing to help. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with wonderful staff

Very good location for the National Park, transport links, and local restaurants. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, who even help plan with your your daily visits to the Park. Exceptionally clean rooms, which are large and well appointed, with luxurious  comfortable beds. A good Chinese breakfast selection and delicious herbal teas greet you at reception. Highly recommend 

Great little hotel, with wonderful staff, fab location 

This hotel is the real deal. My parents and I stayed here for two nights and it is comparable to any Western brand hotel. The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms are up to date, and again the service is among the best I’ve ever experienced in China. My parents and I all spoke Chinese, but I have no doubt that the service would carry over to any guest. The tips and advice we received on planning our itinerary helped us tremendously. They have another hotel in Zhangjiajie city and will help transfer your luggage over for a small fee if you wish to continue your stay and visit Tianmen Mountain. I would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again.

Local gem in ZhangJiaJie

This hotel has a lovely friendly feel. As soon as you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The staff are all happy and keen to help. 
Rooms are clean and have everything you need, except tea bags, so if you are travelling in China bring some of your favourite from home.
Breakfast was great with a chef who will make you delivious noodles.
You can walk to the national park entrance from here, go to an evening show close by or enjoy the eating from many places in walking distance.
We don't speak Chinese but didn't find that a problem here.
We would definately stay here again!

You will feel at home!

This hotel has exceptional front desk staff that takes considerable time with each guest to outline how to make the most out of your visit to the National Forest Park.  They are also extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations, arranging bus tickets to nearby cities (we went to Fenghuang or Old Phoenix Village).  Also, the bus station is 2 doors down from the hotel.  

The breakfast is good.  Nothing exceptional.  The dining room is designed like a bookstore and is a fun space.  

Please note that I was traveling with my son who speaks Chinese.  I don't think the staff at the hotel spoke English.

Very lovely hotel!  Wonderful place to stay if visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
