Barichara

Barichara is a beautiful town and Posada del Companario is in a perfect location - just a few doors up from the main square and the church.  Our rooms were on the street and were very loud.  The rooms themselves, were lovely.  No issues at all, but a room deeper into the courtyard would be much better.  Recommend for location and price - especially if you can get an interior room.

Great location - ask for an interior room

It is very conveniently located, just on the side of the cathedral, a half-quarter of the main park. It makes it very easy to pick up the Tuktuk (motorway) to get around the village. It has a parking garage, which is four blocks away, can be used or parked in front of the hotel, on the side of the cathedral. The cargo people are very attentive, the breakfast is very good, it has Wi-Fi, hot water, the room is nice, no air conditioning but it does not, it has a ventilator and the sector at night is very quiet, the room is dark, allows heat until late.

Very quiet, excellent attention.

We stayed two nights and had a pleasant stay. Loved the old building and history, three different lounge areas, and good breakfast and coffee. Fanny, the manager, kept an eye on service and was very helpful arranging transportation for us to and from Barichara. The location can’t be beat. For me, the highlight was sleeping in such a beautiful Spanish style room. Our room faces the street but was quiet at night and we could leave the tall high window shutter open for fresh air and still have privacy. See photo. 
This was a second trip to Barichara in four years and we would happily return to this posada.

Spectacular, we will return very good location location location, clean, very traditional, breakfast 10 points, cleanliness and attention, Barichara ya es precioso y este hotel es un tesoro de la ciudad, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is wonderful, the best of the breakfast, I'd come back alone for that, the location and the kindness of the staff, too.

Hermosa house very well preserved, excellent location and no noise heard despite being in the center, perfect cleaning, very comfortable beds, comfortable rooms, breakfast with various options all very good and the best Fany your administrator!! facilitates and makes your stay pleasant.

We loved this address in the heart of Barrichara. Nice tastefully decorated room. Charming patio. Flowery and neat garden. Very friendly little viewpoint for seclusion or a drink with a view of the rooftops. Good breakfast, impeccable cleanliness. Charming welcome.

It's a beautiful discovery.

We stayed at this hotel for four days. The staff was incredibly helpful and always went above and beyond their duty, the rooms were nice, the food was very good, and the property was centrally located. We loved the music at night. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were quite spacious. The wifi was OK if one was out of the room. We felt very comfortable leaving our rooms open. I recommend this hotel. 

Nice Place!

The food and service are excellent.Without being a luxury hotel, the decoration is of very good taste.Located in a privileged location near the central square, it allows easy movement within the city.The seating is impeccable and the service is wonderful.

It is impeccable and delicious in taste.

The hotel is very nice, well decorated, clean with excellent service. Rooms are not that special but good enough, TV is too small and poor sound. Included breakfast is not as good as one can expect, at least coffee is very nice. As for the rest it is an excellent choice to know Barichara and surrounding area.

Nice and tranquil stay

This is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a quite,comfortable, nice small hotel with great service and outstanding location. We stayed for 4 nights in a suite which was spacious and convenient for a couple. Breakfast was adequate and tasty although repetitive. Service was amazing, the ladies who run this place made us feel welcome at all times. Unfortunately WiFi was really poor.
