It's a big house where you feel like you never leave your home.The owners are very special people, who take care of you personally and are attentive to any needs.It's like being at home.

Like home

Arrived in bogota with no place to stay. Made the booking late at night. Arrived to find a lovely room in a quiet neighbourhood and even though I had a super early flight the guy at the front desk didn't hesitate to offer to arrange my cab in the morning. Would highly recommend and I didn't even get to try the complimentary breakfast. 

Awesome service on short notice 

 Excellent location to get from and to the airport, we came for a concert in the campsite and it is four blocks away so there is no problem with the travels.

Excellent place to stay.

Excellent care and location. It is a quiet and well-located area. The place is seated and comfortable, perfect for people who travel to Bogotá and will be outside the hotel all day.

In case you're wondering, since the last review is 2 years old, I can confirm that everything is still precisely what people have said below.  Still super friendly, comfortable in a homey way, great location as long as you don't mind a walk to the bus or to shopping/dining, and they will call for the taxi which will arrive literally before you go outside to wait.  The block is safe in part because there's a radio station with 24 hour security next door but I wouldn't cross the pedestrian bridge over the NQS alone late at night and that diagonal shortcut looks a little spooky so stick to the street. Don't expect to watch YouTube videos on the wifi but it's fine for email.

It's as if there's no saliva from my region (Antioch). impeccable facilities, excellent breakfast, a quiet sector close to many interesting places in Bogotá. It has a variety of payment methods, is ideal for quiet excursions. No noise, the rest is very good. Nothing to complain about, everything is perfect.

Excellent in every way.

I stayed in this hotel very close to the Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi, which was my point of interest in Bogotá. Located in a neighborhood of exceptional tranquility and security, in this hotel I found a cozy, warm and very good price/quality relationship. It is a bit difficult to find because it does not have any sign identifying it, however, that mystery of location is absolutely compensated by the kindness of its administrators (owners?).

A great online rate, a personal airport shuttle, good location, what's not to like?
Well, not much but I'll list them. The shuttle showed an hour late, (small car so not for big groups).  The place is really pretty, nice architecture and the breakfast was substantial, (although they wait until you request something before running off to buy it). The location is convenient (if you are a frequent walker who loves soccer). 
If however you are a "morning riser" and have romantic aspirations in the am, avoid the rooms above the dining room. You'll get either admiring glances or envious nods, depending on your sex upon descending for breakfast. 
The shower was very much hit or miss....hard to get it just right.
All joking aside it's a nice house, well priced and the staff try really hard to please. You can do lots worse in Bog.

not for shy newlyweds

This cute little hostel is snug in a residential area with apartment buildings and quiet, safe streets.  It's a strange juxtaposition, but offers a taste of classic Colombian architecture.  This place is more like a B & B.  The lobby has stone, wood and some natural lighting above.  Rooms are spartan and antiquated in a somewhat charming way.  Walls are paper thin.  Bathrooms have basics at best (this place does have hot water, but some other 'quaint' hostels we stayed at did not - and this is typical).  The owner was very accommodating, despite our late arrival.  Also, they moved the timing of home-made breakfast to accommodate our early departure.  We stayed there just for the night.  Not sure how easy it would have been to see the sights from that location, so you might want to check it out to be sure.  Took a great photo of the exterior the morning we left.  Airport landing strip must be close by, due to the occasional sound of jets landing, but the taxi ride was about 20 minutes, I think, and affordable.  We booked this hotel on-line, and I think we ended up paying more for it than otherwise, but not sure how I would have found a hotel in Bogota without doing it that way.

Quaint, but out of the way.

This is a small and friendly hotel in a quiet and safe neighbourhood.10 min walk to the buss and 20 min walk to a big shopping mall. The staff is very helpful and in particular Paulina is doing the outmost to help you. Room and breakfast is fine. If you want to be near bars and restaurants this is not your hotel though. Since it does not have a sign you need a correct and full address to find it.
