Mamá Carmen. I miss her already. She cooks and cleans in the house. She actually has a good deal of variety in her culinary skills and can cook traditional Colombian food. She's also a good source of go to places. She's down to earth, very friend, and... motherly...

The house was awesome. There were five rooms, but the only drawback was that the "king" bed was 2 twins put together. There was a pool and a hot tub. The pool was actually cold, but it was refreshing after being out in the hot sun. The hot water didn't work in the  jacuzzi when we were there, but it was warm enough, again, after being out in the heat.

Awesomeness

We arrived late night and tired and frustrated about a crazy taxidriver. Julliete made us feel welcome immediately. Her help made the entire stay very pleasant. Her laughing was contageus! Despide the area that is close to late night pizza and music we slept very well. Ask for the room in the middle. They have only 3 rooms. Breakfast was nice, and included in price.

Tastefull rooms and xxl large bed

Our room was comfortable and the aircon was efficient and quiet.  The place is certainly secure as you have to open padlocks and solid doors to get in or out.  Good location near to Playa Trinidad and less than 10 minutes safe walk to walled city.  No staff on-site for most of day and no hot water at all during our three days.  Breakfast was ok without being outstanding - coffee, fruit, juice and the inevitable eggs and toast.  If you want a quiet safe spot this is a good option, just need to sort out the hot water.

Comfortable but no staff

We have been at this place because we were in an urgent situation. With the help of the host, the beginning og this trip become a really beautiful experience.
The first contatc was very fast but very friendly. Immediatly we find the solution on our issue. We get a large, tidy and very cleaned room with a fantastic Maracuja's smell...
We were in the middle of Getsemani....Typical and ethnic part of Cartagena. It weas magic with a real carebbean mood. We love to stay at this place. We had as well a very pleasant moment with a large smile from the maid who prepared us a delicious breakfast...

The stunning surprise

This hotel is really a tiny little place. There are a total of 3 yes I said three rooms. So of course it is very personal. It is a 5 minute walk from the main entrance to the old town and this tiny place is on a quiet street. And the rooms are all off the street so it is very quiet. The room is pleasant and modern as well and there is a breakfast. The drawbacks are numerous one the wifi is very slow and number 2 and more important the hot water for the shower  is simply inadequate. Finally the television it is a modern flat screen television with many channels we are talking about 50 channels but only about two of them are in English and there is no CNN or BBC News. Just a couple of unimportant English language channels. On the whole though the experience is pleasant private and adequate oh yes no one is here after 6 o'clock at night so there is a locked gate. When you leave and when you return after six o'clock you have to use two different keys to get in and get out. To go out and in it requires two keys on both a door inner door and a padlock which is the outer door. This combined with the fact that there is no one here after 6 o'clock makes the experience rather cumbersome to say the least.
