The hotel has an excellent location and the daily cleaning is impeccable, but after a few days in the city, I found other hotels with a lower price (that's between 120 and 130 a day) including breakfast. Another thing I didn't like was that I asked to wash some clothes and when they delivered me from the laundry room there were some of mine missing and some that weren't mine in the middle (and unfortunately I only realized this when I had already left) and from one of the receptionist who wanted to enter my room looking for something and without giving any further explanations when we were leaving for the tours.

Pleasant

Comfortable and economical, a great service by the ones in charge, everything works properly, pretty well seated and located within the same walled gates, everything you can expect from a great hotel.

Excellent hotel 

The location is good, within the walled city, close to San Diego Square and the Clock Tower, close to the changing rooms and supermarkets, its friendly staff, the printer can be used free of charge, ideal for printing billboards, and the piece we touched had a balcony, air conditioning and cable television, private bathroom and a comfortable bed.

The good news is that it's cheap.

 Clean and comfortable

My choice of this central hotel was due to the coincidence that it was the first accommodation with a free room that I was able to search. Cartagena is not a cheap flat, so the price of roughly 50 euros per night was fine. With the completely unadorned facility, I can live well. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't speak English, but that's normal in Colombia now. WiFi is free but weak - also standard in Colombia, as well as the fact that there was no water. All this is placed in the rating range satisfactory. If it wasn't for the nighttime luxury. Because it's obviously above the discotheque. So at 2:00 p.m., unfortunately, anyone who goes to bed with a lack of vacuum cleaners will get a higher rating than anyone who is sleeping in the room.

The volume is a problem!

It is a very comfortable hotel, rooms with ventilator and air conditioning bathroom desk in each room, free WiFi throughout the hotel and with a good location, the attention is very good especially with Mrs. Astrid:) very beautiful persona.

The hotel has a very good location, has a supermarket express a square, is a short walk from a café Juan Valdez ideal for breakfast, as it is not included in the hotel.

Buy a hotel at a good price.

Simple basic hotel. and very clean.  Great for the price-  Room Air conditioned, having the double bed  to myself , free wi-fi  & and some free computers with internet  at the reception area. Considering that the price was the same as what usual   backpacker hostels charge for sleeping in a dormitory (with other 6 or more people )  within the walled city, it was a great deal to me.  Staff was very friendly. You could have a room inside the building most probably without the window,or  the room  with the street view. Some people will not like it  due to the noise from the street, which can be very loud specially around  5-6 in the morning.(but I guess this is the case with most of the hotel/hostels in Cartagena)  But depends on your preferences. Personally  I don't mind the street noise  ( I can always use my earplugs )  I prefer the natural light in the room. My room had a big wooden door to the little balcony  where you can sit and observe and just soak up the atmosphere from the streets.

Great for the price

We stayed in the two hotels of the same owner, the Porvenir is in front of the El Viajero, as the Porvenir is more expensive, we switched to this one. The hotel is very clean, organized, has a TV, safe, refrigerator, bathroom, air conditioning and ventilator. The hotel has a small balcony. It is within the walled city and has a Juan Valdez café very close by. It does not have a kitchen, but you can use the kitchen of El Viajero which is very complete and organized.

Excellent price and great location

We stayed here 4 nights in the end (breaking to go to Tayrona in the middle). 

Pros: very clean, daily servicing of rooms, air con, good shower pressure (not warm water though but that's the norm here), great WiFi, helpful staff (we speak very little Spanish but managed to get everything we needed in the end - including one of the hoteliers helping us catch our bus at 5am in the morning), fast turn around of laundry, pretty comfortable beds and pillows, very reasonable price, great location, no windows in some rooms (other people listed this as a con, but I liked that you could take a nap at any time and the room was pitch black when you turned the lights off). 

Cons: no ventilation in the bathroom and yeah, there is a strip bar under the hotel which we didn't realise until our first night and the music started (doof, doof, doof from 9pm to 4am-ish every night), and yes the staff can talk loudly in the hallway early in the morning to one another. Take earplugs and if you're like us, you can deal with the noise. We found some hostels and other hotels and hostels in the area were at least twice the price so the noise was something we were willing to manage. (We paid 70,000 pesos per night).
