We stayed here for several nights. We had a specious room with great views over a wide landscape. The hotel does'nt really serve meals, only a good breakfast which we had served on the covered terrace with a serene morning view over the fresh fields. It is  a nice relaxing spot, at walking distance of the village. Abel was a great host, we really had fun.  He helped with all things we encountered. We enjoyed our stay!

Space, view and people

We had a fantastic stay here and the receptionist was brilliant in helping us with translations on his phone.We do not speak Spanish and he used his phonecapp to help us plan trips. Wonderful news across the mountains and delicious breakfast.Thank you

Excellent 

We really enjoyed our stay here. They have everything you could want, in a totally unpretentious way that feels homely and comfortable. We had a great view from our room over the Bremen reserve. I loved the outdoor living room, and spent a rainy night by a blazing fire I’d lit in their chimney. It’s a working farm too, with a horse and foal in the adjacent field, and acres of pasture. The lady fixed us up empanadas and hot chocolate when I didn’t want to go out in the rain. There’s a hot tub too! Price is very good for the location and facilities.

Comfortable and homely luxury

This finca is just outside Filandia, easy to walk from the central plaza (10 minutes). It is surrounded by green fields so it is lovely quiet. The views from this place are amazing, you can see the valley and way past Armenië. The room we had was spacious, the beds comfortable and everything was clean. The shower is not very powerful but warm. Breakfast was simple but good. The wind comes through the windows, it is not very isolated, but we had warm weather, so it didn't matter. There is a lovely common place to sit outside, in the shade, with a fireplace and spectacular views.

Nice and quiet

Awesome view! Lovely people. Perfect place to relax, it is very quiet! They have a beautiful viewing area with a fireplace for the colder nights and a nice couch. They are doing there upper best to conserve the environment. If you look after your land, the land will look after you.

Great place!

Spent two nights at this quiet hotel. It is in walking distance to Filandia but far enough away so that you don't have all the noise of town. The room was spacious, the one window was looking out to the private part, meaning that we did see all the building material and other stuff being stored behind the house. Staff was very friendly. There are great views around this place, also a very nice communal area with chairs overlooking the green landscape.

Quiet hotel a little outside of town

This hotel is situated just outside the pueblo, with extensive grounds and a stunning view over the mountains.  We stayed in October and really enjoyed the place, and the staff member, a lady, running it was lovely and helpful.  While the place is beautiful, there is so much more that could be done with the place to make it into a first class experience.    The rooms and grounds could be upgraded, and the kitchen improved.  Our room was on the second level, with beautiful views, however they had scaffolding set up outside the room, that was not in use, obstructing the view.  The rooms, and beds, are old and could be a lot better – install some good curtains for blackout, and a heater for the cold as a suggestion.
There is a lookout area, where they will light a fire for you at night.  This was fantastic and we had a few wines, with the fire going which was a highlight.  
The manager goes to bed at 730 pm, so if you want to buy anything from the kitchen, or use the facilities, there are not many options other than to go back into town. 

This place is worth considering - my comments are above relate to improving it into a much nicer place, however it is still great as it is.
