I have mixed reviews on Hostel Nirvana. For the most part cool place, helpful staff, good food, affordable rooms. They've got a nice pool and a great deck up top to watch the sunset. The few complaints I have are the rooms, the vibes, and the tours. We got put in this house next door which didn't have anything in it, no tables, nightstands, hooks or anything, just a mattress. I think they just bought it? It was weird to be separated from the actual hostel, but it was nice to have quiet because they play music at the hostel pretty late. The vibes were odd, many Israelis visit this hostel and while the few we talked to were nice, they vibes were very clique-like. We like to meet people at hostels and that was clearly not the vibe here. Lastly, they say they offer tours, but they need a minimum amount of folks arrange it, so although we kept asking to do one, they could never get enough people to go. Overall, I think this is definitely one of the better hostels in Taganga and they have the potential to be really awesome, just don't expect to make any friends.

Cool Spot - Offers dive lessons

Me and my friend booked 2 seperate rooms for 3 nights. Unfortunately the 1. Day of our hostel experience we couldnt sleep because of the Staff.  All the night they played billiard and laughed around of the swimming pool. And the 2. Night the some of the guests run in the hostel and listened high music i didnt have to listen their music and nobady warned them. And the last day of us wanted to help for airport shuttle . But they wanted get some comission in taxi and put extra money (1. Day they said 40.000 cop 3. Day 45.000 cop) and they try to get more comissions on daily tours too. You can go all the places by taxi cheaper than hostel. 
Generally the staffs of reception and kitchen  are  polita but i can not for everybody !
I can not reccommend this place. How they could get so many 5* points i can not believe!

So Noisy and Not Comfortable

I liked the hostel but please please do not use paper cups or plastic bowls for food. We don’t need any more unnecessary waste that is just going to end up in a landfill. The wifi was also a bit spotty.

Too much waste

We had a lovely two days at the hotel. The staff the are very friendly and helpful. The food is very goodand the bar. The rooms are good .the hktel is very near to the restaurants and bar. Try tacos restaurant on tge beach kr haca mama. We will back tvsnk you for the hospifality. P.s grecia  amicos



Holiday

I was in this hostel for five days and arrived with great expectations and was disappointed with my stay.
 1. The rooms are not high in cleanliness ants walk on the walls.
 2. At least four cases where the water just didn't flow in the shower during the shower and the same with brushing your teeth the water just didn't flow.
 3. The hostel has a large pool, snooker table and a nice sitting area upstairs.  In addition, there is a 24-hour restaurant including all beers and snacks.  Because of all the things I have mentioned it is very convenient to stay and spend more money than usual and also you are less experienced in the life and atmosphere there is in Teganga itself.

Nirvana

Super recommended to spend the day with your partner, a week ago we were there, the atmosphere is very nice!! the service they provide is great and the food is delicious, we hope to return very soon to enjoy.

Special day

I really like Nirvana in Taganga, the place is very nice, the pool, the tasty food, the bar and the atmosphere of the hostel is very cool have good and clean facilities, they serve very well, I would return for sure many more times !!

excelent hostel

The hostel is perfect to spend the day, has very nice and comfortable spaces, the night gets excited with good music and atmosphere, the staff is very attentive and the central location makes it perfect if you want to go to the beach.

Nice place

Watch out for bed bugs!! Found one on the other bed in my room. The hostel staff were kind about it and moved me to another room and they tried to fix the problem in the room, however the experience wasn't nice. They gave me a small reduction - but this was ridiculous. The don't have a common kitchen. I didn't like the atmosphere there

Bed Bugs

The best and most charming hostel in Tagangna is a dedicated and good team that takes care of everything. Thanks to the beautiful Diana who always helps us with everything. Go and have fun. Do not forget to eat the crepe with the chocolate 🍫 ♥️👙
