(French below) We (3 adults), spent a week in Cahuita and this establishment made are stay wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for! A no frills little cabin with everything we needed, nice A/C, fridge, microwave, a gas stove top and perfectly located to visit the park, beach or town. Although not officially in the Cahuita Natl Park, It took us about 7 minutes by foot to everything. Comfortable beds, basic cabin look decor this is what we like! it was a great feeling to be visited almost every day by a group of beautiful howler monkeys that came out nearby!

The lodge is located minutes away from the national park which makes it easy to get around. The room was initially a little musty and the pillows somewhat thin/lumpy, but otherwise comfortable for a short stay. My room did not have hot water during our stay (although others in the same property did) but as it was around 30 degrees C outside, I did not mind that at all. Breakfast (the only meal available in the lodge) was simple but plentiful, and there are many restaurants a short walk away for other meals. Having spent all my time in Cahuita at the beach, I did not use the small pool on the property but it seemed nice. Wifi is available only at reception which is not exactly the best location to hang out in as the mosquitoes seemed to gather there in droves every evening. A flashlight is essential to move around the property after sunset as the wonderful and large trees in the garden send out roots in the middle of the path which can be trip hazards. 

The friendliness of the staff, the pleasant gardens with howler monkeys, agoutis and many birds, and the bright pink hammock outside made up for any inconveniences!

Charming lodge in an unbeatable location with friendly staff

This lodge is located in a side street. It's about 300 meters from the sea. We were staying in colorful bungalows with small porches and hanging mats and all this in a well-maintained garden. But inside there's only a small room that's covered in wood. But everything is enough. There's even a German TV channel. The breakfast was individually ordered and served at the table. It tasted good, but it was much more time consuming than a buffet. The small place with a few restaurants and souvenir shops can be walked through in an hour. We enjoyed the stay, but I still don't want to stay here for more than half a night.

No more than one night

'Unfortunately, we had to wait a little while when we arrived, because our room was not finished yet. (The lodge was not even half occupied). But half the bungalow compensated for the waiting time. Very clean with air conditioning, safe and a full fridge. Super the hanging mat on the terrace. The breakfast was freshly prepared and was appetizing and tasty. W-Lan was unfortunately only in the reception area. Activities were offered and reservation by the ladies. Parking area in front of the houses. You don't need an alarm clock because in the morning you'll wake up to the clock of the brunettes.

Net installation with houses

A typical Caribbean wooden house with nice climate and ventilator is mandatory because it is very heavy.The correct set is lacking storage in the bathroom and a ventilo.The hotel is very well situated you can hear the monkeys screaming only a few meters away and watch them.The nights are very noisy from the animals but you can go for a walk to the park and the villages.A nice lunch.

Nice hotel with good location

The lodge is a 5-minute walk from the centre and the NP entrance. Unfortunately, the cottage is a bit dark because the windows are usually closed. Breakfast is very tasty and you can choose. Shopping is not lacking in the town, which also has bars and restaurants. WLAN is only in the reception - not in the houses.

Nice cottages with noises

The lodge is located in the middle of the remote jungle with parking space right in front of the spacious wooden bungalow. A very good air conditioning system ensured that we could sleep well at night despite the heat. The breakfast was prepared individually fresh on order and left no wishes open. The staff were very helpful. Everything was picobello clean. We felt very comfortable there. The proximity to the village of Cahuita on the one hand and the national park of Cahuita on the other hand was very pleasant for our enterprises.

Successful combination of ecology and comfort

A lost jewel in the neighborhood of Cahuita. The national park is just al loado, with the virgin jungle. It is not in the sea, but that doesn't matter, if you walk only 400 meters and ready, at the entrance of the park and the beautiful beach.

Cozy and typical of the Caribbean.

The cottages are very comfortable. The location is good. And it was clean. It was also very nice. They didn't treat me very kindly, the premises are like a spiky European small garden - the lawn was permanently mowed - there were no animals to be seen on the storage site - there was no garden - the front desk didn't even have a water supply, let alone a café in between. I was annoyed when I saw how many lodges there were in the area that were authentic and had a very garden in which the animals of the national park could be seen. Besides the Cahuita and the surrounding area are truly amazing:

A lovely little set-up on the outskirts of Cahuita the lodges are well appointed, clean and beautifully looked after. 

We took lodges 1&2 for three nights and we're really impressed with the standard of comfort in both. Particularly the wide and comfortable beds. 

Slight downside was the leaky roof in no2 which left damp musty smell initially - did clear a bit by the end. 

A really good selling point about this place is the proximity to the national park, and the troop of howler monkeys that live in the trees overlooking the lodges - brilliant alarm clocks :) I spent the early hours sat on my porch watching them in the trees. 

The breakfast was good and the service excellent - a good place to stay.
