Lo malo: no te dan desayuno, x outside the impression of a neglected hotel, no garden, no plants and flowers, no very striking social area, no decorated swimming pool, little rustic although it is called hotel rustic, no contact with employees. lo bueno: very good location, is close to everything, right next to a restaurant with good prices and a supermarket, has a well-equipped kitchen, nice and clean rooms, very quiet, ideal for couples or families.

The best place in santa teresa !!

I guess beggars can’t be choosers. That is how we came to find ourselves in this place... our booking at a different place was not processed and we found ourselves in desperate need of a place to stay. Had there been any  other possible options, I would have left at first sight.

This is a crappy run down building beside an open sewer. In addition, there is an ATV rental business in the building, so at all hours, motors are being revved and started. Bottom line is this is a hotel for young surfers on a budget.

The pros: it is a short walk from the most amazing beach I have ever been to in my life. ....it is close to good food and coffee... that staff were most friendly.

The cons: everything else. the building is a dump no other way to put it. The bed was the worst torture I have ever endured. There was no window in the room at all. The ATV shop interrupted what god awful sleep We managed to get on a torturous old  mattress, because of revving motors starting before first light. A bar in the hotel provided plenty of noise in the evenings.

There were large chunks of ceiling that were falling down in places, and other areas where it appeared some sort of renovating had been started but not finished. 

Santa Teresa exists in a part of the country in which there are no good maps. Finding this place took half a day, and it is located on a horrible goat track dirt road. At least there were lots of good places to by liquor and the toilet worked.

The hotel is clean, the attention is good and there are options for cooking.However, what really makes it a good option is that it is close to everything.You can walk everywhere, beach, pharmacy, banks, restaurants:

It's wonderful compared to the price of the property, super clean rooms, very central location, and the availability and courtesy of very rare managers.

Service: Regular, not bad, but you can say one thing over the phone and you can say something else while you're at the hotel, so it's best to do it all in writing to ensure that the conditions don't change. Rooms: Clean, spacious, quiet, but don't have many copies of the keys. Security: Excellent security: There's always someone watching, so there's no need to worry. Location: The location isn't facing the sea, but it's relatively close and there's a restaurant with very good food and a nice nightlife. Near the Markets and Bakers. Price: The price felt high for the type of service that can be offered and for the few nights that followed. Additionally: it has a small but fairly inexpensive kitchen, it has kitchens that prepare the masks for the swimming pool, but it has a relatively close proximity to the pool, and it's important to discuss if you can find a problem with all the classes that are available.

If you can find something better

The hotel loacte in very good position and has nice rooms. The best thing in the hotel is juan-juan works in the hotel and helps in everything-places to go,booking and more. Finally,its a good hotel for this price.

Good place fair price

This is the second time I've been to Santa Teresa (I don't like to repeat beaches, but I had to make the exception) and the second time I've stayed at this rescue hotel.The service is the best in the area and the facilities are phenomenal, clean, with a swimming pool inside, very close to the beach and very close to the center.The attention has been very good the two times I've visited this area.

This place has it all, not only where we able to rent a room here but also able to get an ATV rental, and rent surfboards. Making our stay extremely convenient, especially with the hotel manager Juan.He was very friendly and full  of great advice that made our stay in Costa Rica unforgettable. They also provided a pool and common room area that was very nice. It is located very central to all the action and within a few minutes walk to the grocery store. Again i cant give enough thanks to Juan for really going above and beyond to make our stay awesome!

Excellent Service and Hospitality

Other than the people at the front desk I would not recommend this hotel to anyone over 30 who could afford a little more.   Found the sheets to be dirty.  No hot water and loud location.   It might be ok for surfers on a budget but not for anyone else.
