The hostel is really nice and cosy. It has good facilities like multiple refrigerators, microwave and kitchen. It is close to the center and the price is really good. The people working there are lovely and yeltsin gave a lot of good tips for things to do in the area !

Good hostel, nice people, good price

Such a nice hostel, the accommodations are great, it’s well located, the people working there are super nice and helpful for anything we would need, highly recommend !! :)
The dorm is really confortable and has a personal kitchen, everything is super clean

I wouldn't return to this place, they have a serious problem with cleaning, all their rooms have mites, cockroaches, problems with the bathroom and some guests make scandals at night and no one takes action on this.

A really nasty place!!

Modest yet very confortable hostel, host gives you great tips, great prices for the activities and makes a great breakfast. We had a dorm for 6 people but we were the only two and it was perfectly comfortable. It's very close for the center and it's perfect for backpackers. 

Great hostel 

Simple hostel and basic amenities. A cheap option of accommodation in Monteverde. The bed in the room was comfortable, the kids at the hostel were very friendly and also offered breakfast and coffee in the mornings.

It's simple, but pleasant.

The hostel has a bathroom for the various guests, the guy from the reception very available advised me to visit the reserve of Santa Elena instead of the most famous and most touristy one in Monteverde.

Basic but efficient

Well-located and friendly staff and a good source of information... that's all! Very brief kitchen, few places to eat, no place to relax except the bedroom. The housekeeper arrives at 6:00 and the rooms give into the kitchen so hard to sleep in the morning. Hostel that would need love...

Last resort

Very nice hostel especially for the price! hyper welcoming staff ready to give good advice good location, a 2-minute walk from the city centre all the attractions of the city are accessible on foot

Simple and economical

We had a room for three people and four of us slept in a larger dorm room, which were clean and simple. You can‘t lock them though. There‘s a small chill out area where you can meet other travellers and play video games.
The two guys who seemingly run the place are young and chilled out dudes who took us on a very interesting and cheap walk to a river, a view point and a ficus tree you can climb onto. 
So if you just need a cheap place to stay (something like 5$) and some advice on what to do, then I can recommend this hostel. 

Cheap and friendly stay

I was amazed by how nice this hostel was, especially for the price. It's only small so the kitchen could get a little crowded (budget travellers tend to cook for themselves after all!) but everyone was really friendly and it ha a great social environment. There were cool murals on all the walls, comfortable beds, and a hot shower. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. I'd definitely stay here again if I returned to Monteverde (and I hope I do!).
