every little detail counts and when we went to Cariari on our way to Tortuguero this place was our first option, 
it has a parking area for each vehicle, it´s very quiet, Wi-Fi access everywhere, clean and there is food service from other businesses, 
the place is wide, green and you feel welcome,
at the reception they all are very friendly and helpful always,
the owner doña Karen, she´s a very hardworking and friendly woman with whom you can talk hours and hours of almost everything,
i enjoyed every second,
and the staff, specially el Gordito that i can´t remember his name, sorry, they have all the information you need, 

They also organize tours to Tortuguero or at least give you the info you need, 
I recommend staying at least one night, I'm sure you're going back for another night.

friendly and helpful

This hotel is very rustic and simple but is a great value. We used this hotel as the place to stay before going to the docks for the boat ride to Tortuguero. The owner doesn't speak English but was very understanding and helpful with my limited Spanish, the rest of the staff were so polite and helpful. It's also located at the very edge of the main strip of Cariari, so you are within walking distance of many restaurants. This hotel is also in partnership with several hotels and restaurants on Tortuguero, so we got arrangements for tours and potentially more accommodation from José, an agent from the partnership. He was very professional and got us a great private tour for a great price, and personally set us up for access to the amenities of the partner hotels on Tortuguero like their pool and bar, just because we booked a tour and stayed at this hotel. He also gave me an in depth tutorial on how to access Tortuguero with ease, which is quite the process if you haven't read up. For that extra-mile service and bonus freebies, I give this hotel 5 stars.

Very good vacations recommended

We booked a room with fan, but we did regret it right from the start because of the heat. We asked the receptionist if we could upgrade to a room with aircon and luckily we could. It’s well worth the extra dollars. Rooms are simple but clean. What you see is what you get. We choose this hotel because we wanted to go to La Pavona and Tortuguero the next day. Ok place for a stopover.

Nice, clean and a bit rustic hotel. The room has ac, tv, hot shower, parking. The price is very accesible and it's a strategic spot when visiting tortugero because it's the closest and most descent hotel, it's like 40 min. to la Pavona dock. For some reason it's always hard to find nice soft pillows and this place wasn't the exception. 

Strategic stay 

Nice, clean, modern rooms, close to the town with it's shops, sodas and bus-terminal to la Pavona/Tortuguero. And: you got menus from local homedelivery-services in the room. With a pool in the beautiful garden it would be perfect!
