Excellent presentation of the place and service, an atmosphere that is consistent with what is published, I highly recommend it 100% The hotel and the condition of the rooms is very good, in addition to the restaurant which has a variety of food with good presentation.

It is excellent.

This is a truly spectacular large conference hotel, if you get the right rooms. The Swim up rooms on the Ground floor with the channel you can swim in facing onto the beach ( room 164) watching wild birds, especially Scarlet Macaws is spectacular.  The 18 hole golf course is very attractive and one of the best in CR. Full of wildlife hence its name “ Iguana”. Take the ecotour, which is free as is kayaking, paddle boarding and tennis.

One of our favorite vacations and we’ve been in A LOT of places.

We stayed for 4 nights and the room and view were breathtaking. Very clean which we are very particular about for a place this size you won’t find anything more clean!

As all the reviews state, the sunsets, wildlife and views are enough to spend hours and hours on the deck with no need to go anywhere.

The beach is fantastic, warm like bath water with great small waves for fun boogy boarding.

We Book with PIKO TRAVEL  the ATV tour,  Surf lesson, Tortuga island, the Monkey experience and loved it. Perfect mix of hiking, waterfall, beach and four wheeling.

The staff at the hotel was awesome, The only problem was the vendors at the beach and the loud music, other them that we love this place.

"Paradise".

If you are thinking of taking a beach at the hotel, forget about it because it is impossible to walk on the beach or enter the sea.

Forget the beach, stay in the pool

We spent two incredible nights in this place that is only two hours (or less) from San Jose. Ideal for a weekend getaway on the beach and with super service. We did the Iguana tour, rested by the pool, took part in aquagym classes and ate at several of the restaurants, everything was excellent! I have no choice but to recommend the place and look forward to returning!

A place of dream

This was the final stay after a week long adventure with my daughter through Costa Rica. We picked the Marriott at the end so we could rest and recoup before leaving the country. But from 8pm-12am the resort blasted techno music from a private gathering and this completely stole away any rest I hoped to get while staying here. I contacted the front desk and they said they would do something about it but nothing changed. This was the worst stop in our trip through the amazing country of Costa Rica.

Terribly Loud Music

Visited Costa Rica on a tour through Collette Tours, spent three nights at Los Sernos Marriott.

It’s a beautiful resort, with good sized guest rooms offering balcony’s and or patios, some with Ocean views.
Of course there’s a beautiful Golf Course, lush and green - unfortunately we didn’t have the time to enjoy it so I apologize for not being able to provide any info.

The Hotel grounds are good for strolling and looking at the wildlife that lives on the property, walking along the shoreline
Since we visited durning the off season not all the restaurants were open, but what was available was decent.
Nice bar with indoor and outdoor seating , enjoyed kicking back talking to friends, and watching sports.
The bartenders were super nice.

The Breakfast Buffett was excellent, lots good choices for any diet - always fresh fruit along with a cook who can cook your eggs any style.

There are plenty of pool’s throughout the property, good for kids - we enjoyed the swim up bar pool - of course.

There’s a small port that you walk to, maybe 10 minutes through a beautiful tree covered walkway - there’s restaurants at the port also some beautiful yachts. 

The only issue that we had was getting a wake up call.
We arrived at mid evening and needed to get up early, I called the operator line & it just rang & rang - finally I had to go to the front desk where I found 3 gentleman just chatting away, I asked if the hotel offered wake up calls and they said yes - and told them I had been calling for 20 minutes, they took my info and set up the call, I felt for a quality hotel that was not up to Marriott standards.
But it all worked out.

Overall it was a nice stay, great views and friendly staff overall even if we didn’t Golf.

Relaxing Resort

This was our first time to Costa Rica and we picked the perfect place to stay. The hotel thinks of everything you could possibly need. The room was perfect for my family, we had a continental breakfast every morning with the option of a buffet breakfast-  there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Most importantly the staff was so hospitable and went out of the way. We were able to tour the grounds with Juan and his Iguana Tour, take in the spa, sit by the pool, and listen to live music one night. The marina was a nice walk if we wanted to change up scenery and transportation and planning was alway available.  I highly recommend this location.

Let me say, we are titanium presidential Marriott vacation club members and have traveled to many Marriott’s throughout the years.  I have to say that the club in los suenos is probably the nicest I have been to in many years.  The service was great, the restaurants, and there are many to choose from were excellent.  The food was great.  The employees were super friendly, the grounds are impeccable.  The pool area is beautiful with a great swim up lounge for food and drinks. And to top this all we used PIKOTRAVEL to plan our excursions, and they were great.
PURA VIDA COSTA RICA.  WILL BE RETURNING NEXT YEAR TO LOS SUENOS MARRIOTT AND TO PIKOTRAVEL TO GO SEE MANY OF THE VOLCANOES THAT ARE IN COSTA RICA

One of the best Marriott vacation clubs

I stayed at Condominio Verandas, Los Sueños Herradura and it was absolutely lovely, just stunning! Place was really clean and it had everything you need. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go on vacation with family.
