What a beautiful discovery we were so pleased by our experience. From the decor to the guest this place is amazing a great spot with everything we need to be comfortable. Plus there’s a nice kitchen to cook our food if we didn’t want to go to the restaurant I recommend that little paradise without any hesitation 💖

A place to discover

This hotel was for me the best place to stay in Jaco (see my previous ratings). It was managed by a French lady. Everything was well managed, the rooms were nicely decorated, there was always a hibiscus flower in the bath room. The pool area was nicely decorated. It was quiet and clean. This is all gone now. Strange guests are at the property, a family with a kid smoking marihuana in the pool. Also the guy who welcomed us at the property acted stoned. I will not come back.

Owner changed - awful place now

We rented the apartment unit. It was clean and as described. The property was on a quiet street and gated for security.. the unit was big with a nice balcony. And outdoor seating area. This is old Costa Rica style kinda place. This is not the Hilton or a resort so please be aware this is an quaint old school Costa Roca boutique kind of place. But it is clean and well maintained.

Cute, clean and safe

Hotel Perico Azul was my favorite place to ever stay in Costa Rica- and this was my 5th trip! The boutique style rooms are cozy and adorable. The pool was sparkling clean and refreshing. We were treated very well by staff- like family. I loved the shared kitchen and having a min-fridge in our room. They provided towels to take to the beach, and the beach was a short 5 minute walk. The hotel is gated and we felt very comfortable and safe. We even cancelled our hotel in Manuel Antonio just to stay another 2 nights at Perico Azul. We will be back!!! 

A hidden gem in Jaco! 

Nice lovely hotel with cozy well equipped rooms.  There was an air conditioning, little fridge, 2 comfortable beds, small table with chair and a wardrobe in my room. Bathroom was also well equipped and the water supply was good. There is also a table outside in front of the room and the yard is nice. Some furniture and equipment are a little bit old, but everything is perfectly clean. 

It took me just about 5 minutes to get to the beach and a 10-15 minutes walk to the main street with cafés. 

People, who work at the hotel, are kind and friendly. There was Soll, who checked me in, she was great 🙂 and also she runs yoga classes, which should be very interesting. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time in Jacó to join.

Perfect place to enjoy Jaco, quite and familiar place close to the center and the beach, very friendly stall especially Soll, always in touch on WhatsApp, helping anything , i forgot my laundry she immediately texted me before i left the city, she’s willing to help even in the middle of the night 

Best place in Jaco

A short walk from the bustle of downtown Jaco, Hotel Perico Azul is a peaceful oasis. The rooms are clean and spacious and the pool is perfect for cooling off.  It is quiet in the evenings - away from the party hostels and nightclub scene.
I ended up extending my stay because I felt so at home there. The staff are wonderful - Sol is a fantastic host and was super helpful in providing suggestions for where to rent a surfboard and schedule a massage session and yoga class.

A peaceful oasis

This hotel is a little gem in Jaco! It's very quiet and yet very close to the city center (5min drive). Room was super clean with working AC, and the swimming pool in the middle of the place gives it a nice cosy and trendy touch! Most of all, our host Soll was very friendly and helpful! We would come back any time!

Little gem in Jaco

Great experience at the hotel. Soll was super helpful and friendly, and helped in giving great tips around the city. 
The rooms were spacious with a good working A/C. The pool was very inviting although I didn’t use it during my stay there. 
Moreover, the common areas were clean and roomy.
Lastly, it’s away from the main cities hustle and bustle, thus providing a very relaxed environment.

Great stay option at Jaco

Nice, quiet, clean. Kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself. Soll was attentive and super helpful. Would stay here again. Easy walk to beach in 10 -15 minutes,  Location was convenient to drive to other beaches and activities.
