Our bungalow had an unbearable smell of humidity, the bathroom had a bathtub that was stained and dirty, the dirty walls, the damaged wood. At night you have to light it with a flashlight because the place has no lighting, no security. The pool looks dirty. It's a shame that a place with so much potential is so abandoned. I don't recommend this place at all.

 Deception of place

The hotel is quite acceptable, it is very convenient to rest after a day of beach and sunshine. The kitchen is basic, and so in my case I didn't need more tools, if it is to eat rice because you have to carry your pot. Otherwise, you can do simple things, to relax and not complicate with the kitchen, near the hotel or a restaurant that opens at night, too. The bathroom, very well, there is a water heater. In my case I took a gallon of water to drink and make coffee. A space with shelters, very relaxing. The pool and the jacuzzi, great for spending the day after the beach, if it has lighting, no shelters. Important repellent and if you want to take a place with anquiditas, definitely. Nature is everywhere.

My younger daughter, on arriving at the place, said: This is pure expectation versus reality. And we felt the same way in my family. The announcement said: Bungalows have cable TV, fans (some have air conditioning), kitchen with 2 electric heaters, an American bathroom heater, a small refrigerator, pastry and normal pots (our kitchen does not have any insects, you can carry them), tablecloths, household blankets, private bathroom with hot water, shower, jacuzzi, and private terrace with bathrooms. The picture of the room (adjunta) showed the CRT TV set of 20, and as well as the picture showed the quality of the picture. No water was available to host the bathroom heater, only the American bathroom heater, the small refrigerator, the pastry and ordinary cupboards (our kitchen does not have any insects, you can carry them), tablecloths, covered rooms, private bathroom with hot water, shower, shower, jacuzzi, and private terraceau.

Far from being promising...

The rooms are beautiful, fresh and comfortable, well rested and quiet... a little off the main road but the place is very nice. There is a swimming pool and a parking lot. Only if I think there can be a better customer service but otherwise, everything is fine...

The charm of the place.

The concept of the hotel is pretty, bungalows with kitchen, spacious, has beautiful green areas, is located near the beach but the rooms have a lot to improve, are neglected and do not seem to be doing anything to remodel them.

Rooms have much to improve.

Probably because of the type of building materials in the bungalows, it seems that there is a lack of cleanliness, attention that the sheets seemed to be unwashed and the kitchen had some problems.

Comply with the conditions and close to the beautiful beaches.

It's a beautiful place, quiet and rich in nature. the hotel as a concept is very interesting, but the attention is scarce. No changing dirty towels, and the pool has restrictions as to the hours of use.The owner and staff are courteous and unkind. And the facilities are less than that in many respects. The precious dry forest that leads to the beach.

The place is beautiful, the hotel is very much lacking.

We stayed for only one night during our honeymoon trip to Costa Rica. We enjoyed the forest walk to Playa Grande. Playa Grande was beautiful and not crowded at all. Certainly a spot for couples or small families looking to get away from downtown areas and into a nature location. 

We decided just to stay the night because we wanted to explore other locations along Costa Rica's coastline. We also wanted to be able to walk to areas for food and drinks rather than drive. Hotel owner Alex was very nice!

Quite Relaxing Location

A very nice and quiet place. The pool is great, the bungalows very close to nature. At any time you can see wild animals quietly passing through the garden. The path to the beach is beautiful as it is within the forest, hard as 5 - 10 minutes to get to the beach, depending on the pace of the walk. We took our dog and the managers told us that we should be careful as it could be attacked by an animal. Everything in our instance was very good.

Beautiful and nice treat

The place has the potential to be good but the problem is that they have neglected maintenance. They have serious problems with cleaning. The bed had a sheet full of stains that looked very used, the pillows were very different, I think if you worry a little more about cleaning and renovating the worn-out wooden pieces of the bathroom, the place could give a better impression.
