The breakfast was good and served in the garden. This hotel was little more than a stop over for me so I did not inspect it's whereabouts apart from going to a nearby bank as the owner preferred cash. This is someone's house and my room was comfortable. All doors lead from the hall which is also the sitting area. I was very jet lagged so when the owner and some guests were talking it was difficult to sleep. Ernesto was very welcoming when I arrived helped me up the stairs with my suitcase. He very helpful the next day when I was organising my trip to Saverge. I felt he was looking after my safety.

nice little guesthouse

Had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. The owner, Maria, is a lovely lady who was extremely friendly and approachable, nothing was to difficult for her! The guesthouse itself is extremely pleasant with just a few rooms it really had a homely vibe. Private bathroom with a nice hot shower. Room was included for me and this was a great extra as it was really tasty and served in the beautiful gardens! Location is also really good as it is just a short walk to all the main attractions and sites.

Lovely guesthouse!

The hostess and owner, Maria Luisa and her Mom, welcomed me like a longtime friend. Traveling by myself, I was thankful for advice and tips about San Jose. 
It's a private house, nicely furnished, turned into a b&b with 5 rooms.
My room was cosy. It was spacious, very neat and clean. The bathroom has a hot shower (I stayed at a different b&b before with only cold showers) and it seemed newly renovated. 
People have mentioned the busy road close by, that is not in front of the house. The tram stops running at 9 pm and I found it to be quite at night. I slept great, undisturbed. 
I truly enjoyed the yummy breakfast served outside in the garden. 
It's a lovely place.

Close to center; lovely little family run place. Safe neighborhood. Excellent breakfast, cozy rooms with good beds and hot showers. Little garden where you can have breakfast. Lovely owners. Value for money!

Our room (not really clean) had no window : so no daylight & no view but only an opening. That would be ok if there was at least a lamp and not just a naked weak light bulb hanging from the ceiling! Apart from that the staff was nice and helpful! 
Loud trains passing not far are heard during the night...
