We stayed in apartment 1a. There was some confusion at check in - we were supposed to have been texted a code for the key box for self check in, which we never got and there was nobody about to help. A little annoying but not a massive problem. The apartment had everything we needed, although we didn’t use the kitchen for cooking. It was clean and towels changed after 3 days. The beds were comfortable and the aircon worked really well. We had a balcony with amazing sea views. 
The apartments are 5 minutes drive from the airport, which is €15 in an Uber.
The centre is a 10 minute walk but on the way back it is very steep and up lots of steps. Just be aware of this - I’m pretty fit but in the heat I found it difficult at times. On the plus side this does mean you get the most amazing views so was worth it.

Cavtat stay

This place is amazing firstly the studio is immaculate and has everything you would  need. The view from the balcony is wonderful and you could not get bored of waking up to that view every morning. The owners are lovely and so is there beautiful doggy. All amenities are about 5 min walk away.
Having visited Cavtat numerous times and having stayed at all the hotels this was by far our best stay. It gives you the opportunity of experiencing what Cavtat is all about.

Stayed for 3 nights the owner was very friendly and helpful on arrival. The apartments are new and looked purpose built.Our room was clean and well equipped for what we needed kitchen stove fridge etc.The shower and toilet area was Tiny the shower tray was very small and hardly usable.The sink had a shelf above it making the sink very difficult too use needs removing?The bed was comfortable but creaked so loud it woke you up if you turned over in the night not good.For the Lady's no plug socket near a mirror did not go down well with the wife.the apartment had a small functional balcony but the whole apartment is really small you could not spend a week in their probably only suit One Person in my opinion,A/C was good.5 minute walk down a steep hill 15 mins on the way back would not suit the unfit.

yorkshire couple

We booked this online so had no idea where we were going to be. Bed is comfy and air conditioning effective. Apartments are very clean and you have your own fridge but I question whether you could really self cater with the facilities provided?  We didn’t get a room with a view and TV only offered 4 Croatian channels. You need to be fit to stay here as it is a very steep walk downhill to the town and excessively steep coming back up in the heat. Overall we have been comfy and had a good time for a very reasonable price.

Basic but extremely clean and provided adequate accommodation

This was the cheapest accommodation we found in Cavtat 4 weeks before departure during the high season. There are different type of rooms. We had the very basic one with ac, bathroom and a fridge. There’s a shared kitchen and shared terraces. Some rooms are bigger and have balconies. The room isn’t up to date but it was super clean and tidy, the cleaners did a really good job every day wiping all the desks etc. The location is good, although don’t let the distance fool you, the hotel is on top of a hill so everytime you come back from the center it’s uphill and stairs. The views are ofc nice! If you are looking for a decent place to sleep, get washed and store your stuff, this is a good option. But if you want to spend time hanging at the hotel, then I’d pick something bit more modern or at least the room with private balcony. 

Modest but worth the money

Property was disgusting 
Staff were rude
Paid for 14 people, however property did not provide enough beds so had to sleep in the hall. Was then advised to pay more money for the staff to pocket this money and then disappear. 
I have then dealt with management (if you want to call them that) and have got no where. Staff pretend to speak no english and hang over, emails take weeks to respond and with no actual answers. 
I would not stay here if you paid me

DONT BOTHER

We chose this hotel as my partner was staying in Hotel Cavtat for 3 night on a conference and I wanted to be near by for when the conference ended so that he could join me.

This hotel ticked all of those boxes i was less than 5 mins walk away from the hotel and from the town. A quaint little town that would be considered to be the seaside area. It was beautiful.
The balcony affords the most beautiful view over the sea with the setting sun, simply breath taking and gives the perfect opportunity for more than a few sunset photo opportunities. 

It should be noted at all incoming flights to Dubrovnik fly over this hotel. It is a shared Kitchen that people insist on making a racket in from 6 till 9 am so if you are hoping for a little lie in then best forget it. The room over head for the first 3 night sounded like they were moving furniture and hoovering til 11pm .

The balcony is lovely for having a quiet little drink or eating your meal on and comes with a line to dry all wet swimming clothes from the day.

I found that my bathroom was connected tot he adjoining room view a block hole in the wall to allow fair from their window to ventilate through. While a novel idea it also meant that I could hear next door using the bathroom all the time and that when the window got up it blew through to my bathroom making strange noises at all hours.

Ideally Placed with a stunning view

The appartment was on the topfloor (attic) so we had great view.
The kitchen and TV room were shared. Not a problem for us, but we had booked a room own kitchen and TV...(but those were all fully booked...)
The prices on Booking.com are 13% higher than the prices on the pricelist inside the appartments and the prices on the website (we only found out when we arrived).
The owners of Cina apartmens said that the difference is caused by the commission that is charged by booking.com, and that it's cheaper to book with them directly...
Acording to the terms & conditions of Booking.com they give lowest price guarantee and there is no extra charge for their service (see article 4). So Cina apartments is not allowed to charge this extra commission and we are waiting now to get refunded by Booking.com.
Overall we did not find the owners very helpfull (their were some other issues).
We found the location great but be aware of the fact that is a 10 minute walk uphill and there's only one restaurant and supermarket nearby.

Poor service

Just back home after spending 11 nights at the Cina Apartments in Cavtat.  We wish we were still there! The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed - including en suite facilities,  a little kitchenette,  comfy bed, wi-fi, air con, etc. We booked a sea view - and wow what a sea view!  It was lovely just sat on the terrace having breakfast on a morning watching the boats in the bay.

The owner was lovely and really helpful and we found the whole place really peaceful and relaxing. 

The apartment was about 10 minutes steepish walk up from the centre of Cavtat - so definitely wouldn't be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.  However we had no problems - it was just a good excuse for buying an ice cream at the bottom of the hill before starting up the steps.
