The room was well equipped and the bed comfortable. Had all the basics needed and the view from the fourth floor was more than worth the climb. For the location it was a really good price too. It is perfect for exploring the Old Town and easy for transfers for excursions by bus or boat. There is something really special about seeing it before everyone else has gone to sleep or before everyone arrives. It is on the Stradun and next to the main bars. As such there is noise but you get that for any apartments in city centres and has never been a bother for me at all.

Amazing Stay

This guesthouse is located right in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik, overlooking the main esplanade, Stradun Street.  Being in the center, that means you can get up really early in the morning, walk around, & explore all the sights of the old town before the crowd arrives.  Also, there is easy access to restaurants, cafes, shops, & everything else you need from here.  Because this is a room in the old town, the buildings are pretty much left unchanged, so that means going up steep, narrow, staircases to get up to the 4th floor, which is the room where I stayed.  It's part of the charm of staying in the old town.  Even though my room was quite small, it was surprisingly comfortable, even the bed.  

Unfortunately, being in the center of the old town came with a lot of noise.  Just downstairs are several restaurants & bars, which stay open late, and a pub that is open until 2am.  Then at 6am every morning, you'll hear the trucks that clean up the old town, as well as several delivery vehicles.  It's something you have to get used to for a few nights in exchange for having the perfect location in the old town.  Other than this, I really liked my stay here overall.

Excellent location in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik

Spent 4 nights here in September. The location is good as it is very central and only a few minutes walk from all the attractions/port/restaurants and cafes. The room is very small and I felt expensive for the size and standard. I know Dubrovnik is expensive but I think there are probably places that are better value for money.  We enjoyed our stay and did not spend much time in the room anyway so it wasn't that important. Check in was easy - you collect keys from a central office around the corner and we were able to leave luggage there. I have only given 3 stars due to the price otherwise it would probably have been 4

Good location

This property is very tiny, from the stairs to the room to the bathroom. I hurt my twist badly moving luggage up the stairs here, the handrail fell off the wall. No hand soap in the bathroom, no daily cleaning. 

The company handling the booking is a moron, sending the address to pick up the key (another company handles the checkin, at DIFFERENT ADDRESS) half an hour before checkin by email. We show up at address of Lumi guest house and didn't know what to do. 

Stay elsewhere guys. 

Narrow stairs, handrail fell off the wall

Stayed 3 nights in a single room in the guesthouse. Pros: it's in the centre of the Old Town, just off the Stradum so as central and convenient as it gets. The room was clean and had great views straight to the Minceta Tower and the terracotta rooftops. A kettle and fridge is available. Cons: the room is tiny and there's no very limited space once luggage is dragged in. Can barely turn around in the shower. Biggest drawback is having to drag the luggage over a 4 storey building with narrow staircase...high risk of accident waiting to happen.

Central location, good views but very small room and lots of narrow stairs!

Go back an se Kingslanding form Game of thrones, from your ovn window. (If you are as lucky as us. Walk the histoty, real and ficktion. And you will love this plase. Lovely accomendation, with no elevator.

In the center of the old town

Great location, comfy bedding, and on the 3rd floor we had a fantastic view of Old Town. The windows opened up to the main thoroughfare and we never got tired of watching people (and the birds.) There was so much activity at all hours and the windows were soundproof. The guys in the staff office were friendly, helpful regarding sights to see, and even helped us up to our room. I emailed ahead about getting an early check in and received a prompt. There is a kitchenette with an oven, fridge, and everything else you need to cook. This place is a find and we will stay here next time! 

One night stay and we wish it was longer!

Wonderful place. Valentina at front desk very kind, Great location near free parking (right side of road) by north gate. Beautifully decorated and even better than amazing photos. Not very roomy but you have a green shuttered window view to the main historic street the Stradun. I called out to my wife from the street as she was running late, Juliet Juliet where are you? And she leaned out - the Taiwanese tourist group got a big laugh. Romantic and right near the main gate and ATM machines for getting Croat money (Kuna).

The en suite room was simple but clean and served as a great base for our 2 day stay in Dubrovnik. Situated right in the heart of the old town, it was perfect! The only problem was that we arrived at 11 am and were not able to get into the room until 2 or 3 pm. The office didn't open until 12, so we had to trail our cases around with us. However, they were more than happy to look after them once they had opened and were very helpful.

i stayed in this guest house in august 2018 for 4 nights.. i was in room 4 on the third floor .everything about the guest house was excellent.. the room the cleanliness the interaction with reception.. and the icing on the cake is the location.. it literally overlooks the main liveliest street in the city where everybody wants to be. all the tourist attractions are in the old city so why do you want to stay miles away and trek it in the bus or on foot in the heat ? that said the windows are sound proof and i personally couldn't hear anything at night. You re going to be walking up and down stairs all day long in this city;  up the forts and the walls, the last thing you want is to have to climb up yet more stairs to get to your hotel outside the old city.  the room has everything you could require and there are 3 supermarkets withing 5 min walking distance. the reception desk is 1 street around the corner and the people working there are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and welcoming. i hope your experience in this guest house will be as good as mine. i wouldn't stay anywhere else if i went again.
