Very small en-suite room advertised as a studio.
it had a cooker job and fridge in the core set with presses. small featureless enclosed terrace not a balcony. Up a steep hill not suitable for older people or anyone with bad knees.
on the plus side it was very central, but too small for a couple when visiting for a week or more.
i would not stay there again.

Super apartment in a great location in the old town area of Cavtat - a very short and manageable walk up the hill.  Clean and comfortable with a lovely terrace.  We loved the hot tub and used it daily.  The air conditioning in the double bedroom was rather noisy and we opted not to use it at all in the end but this was the only negative from our week's stay.  Would definitely use again.

Great Apartment with a Hot Tub!

We stayed in Cavtat for 3 nights.  The apartment is very well located right on the edge of the old town, close to so many restaurants and had everything we needed.  
Nikolina met us on arrival and made some great recommendations on restaurants and beaches.  Most notably however, I left my phone in the accommodation and Nikolina looked after it and even left it into our accommodation in Dubrovnik later in our trip.  This was unbelievably kind and saved us so much time and hassle, we couldn't thank her enough.
Would certainly recommend if visiting Cavtat - the accommodation is so reasonable and you are certainly very well looked after which.  Our experience should reflect how honest and kind the hosts are.

Excellent stay, Nikolina was a life saver

We have just returned home after staying 5 nights at Apartment Niko. Am so pleased we stayed here. Small but lovely apartment with everything we needed, very modern. Lovely good sized balcony with views over Cavtat. Thankfully it's a short walk up the steep hill from the town. 
We had to arrange to arrive a day earlier and this was no problem with good communication from the owners. I would recommend this apartment and am hoping to return to Cavtat next year and will try to stay here. 

Great Apartment and location

Clean, great location. But more importantly, lovely hosts who were super helpful: there was a small glitch with booking which they bent over backwards to sort out, quickly and professionally. Cannot recommend enough!

Brilliant

We stayed in Cavtat for 2 nights following a couple of weeks in Montenegro, to be in proximity to Dubrovnik Airport (only 5/10 minute taxi drive away). We booked a studio due to the short stay in this large detached rental property. Had no outdoor space, but good value rental. Met by the agent Mihaela, a charming and helpful lady, at Cavtat Bus Station who accompanied us up the steep albeit short hill to the property and explained everything to us. Arranged a taxi for the airport transfer. If you have mobility issues (or elderly?), this property is not advised. The apartments are ideally located (distance) for the main promenade, water taxis and best restaurants / cafes in Cavtat. For a longer stay - suggest one of the larger rooms with forward facing balconies.

2 night stay

These apartments were recommended to us for their location, which in truth is excellent as only a few minutes to town centre. Travellers do need to be aware that they are situated on a steep slope ( manageable for most, even if you have to take a rest break) and then there are some steps to the apartment. We had a studio apartment without seaview and I would recommend travellers to book a room with a view, this was our regret as only a small area to sit out in and two air con machines for company.
The apartment we had was sufficient for our needs with good aircon, comfy bed and a small bathroom. We ended up having no hot water for almost two days but eventually all was sorted. The cooking facilities are limited. There is an electric stove with two rings, not very powerful, we only cooked eggs and porridge. Towels are provided and changed twice during our week's stay. These are not serviced apartments so you get rid of your own rubbish and make your own bed. There was a hairdryer, soap and toilet paper.
The lady caretaker is most friendly and helpful. 
We booked our taxi to the apartment via the owner and paid 100 kuna. The return cost was 120 kuna from the bus station!
The apartments are near the one supermarket ( surly staffed!) , a bakery, bank and the bus station. We mostly enjoyed our stay and Cavtat is a lovely resort.

Did the job

Before making my decision on whether to rent this vacation rental, i had a few others in mind.  When looking at the map of Cavtat, and reading other reviews from renters in other areas further than Apartment Niko, i finally decided this would be a good spot.  Upon arrivning, i was proven that my decision was correct. (If i would have decided on the other options, we would have been wore out, in climbing to get get to the apartments.  This apartment was up a slight hill, and once at the bottom, you were directly in line with everything.  The post office, shops and restaurants.  Take a left, walk 1 minute and you were at the harbor/promenade.  We were met, upon arrival, by Maryann, who was very attentive and helpful in answering our questions.  She assisted us in making the airport pick-up, before we arrived.  The cost of this one-way transfer to the apartment, was 105 kunas/appx $17 US. We were wondering if we needed to hire another transfer, to get us to Dubrovnik, upon our departure.  She insisted that we didn't need to, as we could get there by bus #10.  She was right; because the bus station, to catch #10 to Dubrovnik, was only a 4 minute walk.  We got up on Sunday, and rolled our big luggage down the little hill, and caught the 1st bus to Dubrovnik, at 7:30 AM, for 25 kunas.  Overall, the apartment was clean, modern, had an excellent location, included good wifi, and a great view from our stoop.  It had everything we needed... 2 burner stoptop, pots, pans, silverware, electric kettle, fridge, small table and towels.  Only thing that we needed to provide was shower gel.  I would stay there again, if back in beautiful Cavtat.
