I stayed in this accommodation for 6 nights in early October. It is located up a side street off the main Stradun. Reaching the apartment involves climbing approximately 50 steps. The main issue with this accommodation is the lack of light but I suspect that most apartments in the old City of Dubrovnik face the same problem. The accommodation was clean and towels were changed daily. A fridge and safe were available for client use. The bathroom was rather small and cramped.
Breakfast which was excellent was provided in another building close by. The staff were most attentive and helpful.
In hindsight I would have stayed outside the old city and travelled.

Good functional accommodation

Just what we expected from a building within a medieval town. A basic no thrills tired looking but spotlessly clean accommodation located mid way up a long steep street with many stairs. Excellent breakfasts are served in a separate more modernised building a few streets away. 

Basic clean and functional. 

This is a very nice place on a quiet street, in the heart of the old town.  We arrived early,1000, planning to stash our luggage until the room was ready.  We arrived, the door was locked, and there was no one inside.  Fortunately, a neighbor heard our knocking and calling and came to our aid, knowing the code to open the door.  There is no concierge, only three rooms.   There was never anyone there, other than other guests.   It's a good place to stay, close to everything, and on a quiet street.  But, be sure you can get in.  Villa Flora or the booking agency through whom I booked, should have sent me info about how to get inside.

Beware the Locked Door

Firstly do not stay here if you are vaguely unfit or have any form of mobility issue! Over 100 steps to the place from the Main Street. However Dubrovnik is completely step orientated. The hotel was not great value for money. Even with the fact it is in the city walks the decor is old, faded, air conditioning is loud and needs attention. Rooms are very small and the electric sockets falling out the wall, beds old and uncomfortable. The towels they give you are like sandpaper. The people that own this place also have the place where you have breakfast and you can tell they put everything into that place rather then the villa flora!! No offer of help with luggage, front door left open with our luggage inside whilst we went out. Was made to take luggage 3 floors down as room wasnt ready to then drag it 3 floors back up! I loved the city but would not stay here again. I would avoid! 

Not great! Go else where

The location could hardly be any better, right in the centre of old town yet not on a busy street so quiet. The bathroom was small yet very functional. The place was very clean and nice.

But.....the bed and the mattress were from the 70s. Yes, it worked, but don't ask me how. The wooden slats underneath the bed came out twice, so you completely sink into the mattress. It they buy a new bed and bed frame this place would score excellent with everyone.
