We stayed in a very nice, large apartment with two bedrooms and kitchen, and we enjoyed that much, it made us feel like at home. The owners were helpful and polite. The location was not perfect, if you want to be close to the old town, but Lapad has much to offer as well, and may be better for family holidays.

A very nice place for a family

We stayed in Sep 2016 for 5 nights. A great location near Lapad Beach. Near to bus stop.A nice room with beautiful views. On arrival Lady offered complimentry drinks of wine and whiskey. Room equiped with kitchen utencils, cofee maker, toaster. Very neat place, ensuite toilet,comfortable beds.free Laundry and ironing available. A beautiful garden with BBQ facilities. Lady host was always available for guidence and provided very useful information. Felt just like HOME. Were allowed to check out an hour late. Would love to stay again on next visit.

A cozy place at budget price

My husband and I stayed in one of the smaller apartments in this pleasant villa with garden and parking if you need it.  It's well situated, being close to bus routes, restaurants, a supermarket and the promenade that leads to the beach.  The apartment we stayed in had limited head room as it is under the eaves and this makes it a little claustrophobic with velux windows that you can't see out of and one smaller normal window in the bedroom area.  There are no drawers, but there's a wardrobe, which came in handy for storing our supplies (as well as clothes) as there is nowhere to do that in the tiny kitchen area apart from the fridge.  There are two rings to cook on beside the kitchen sink which is OK if you're inventive and/or you eat out a lot. There is a comfortable bed, very welcome aircon and a good shower, as well as wifi.  The apartment is also spotlessly clean, if a little dated.
We were welcomed with beer and wine and allowed access to the apartment ahead of time which was very helpful.  The day before we left we were given a bottle of wine and some chocolates which was a nice thought.
Prior to arriving, the hosts offered to arrange taxi transfers to and from the airport - and at a reduced rate if you booked the return journey and paid the taxi driver.  This seemed like a good idea, so we did it.  However, when we returned to the airport, it was with a different driver which didn't initially seem like a problem.  However, once at the airport, he insisted that we should pay again, saying that the first driver was nothing to do with him.  Obviously, we didn't want to do that as it would have been the equivalent of about £25.  As Maria had been the one to organise the transfers with the taxis, we hoped that by speaking on the phone to her, the matter could be sorted out.  Unfortunately, this wasn't the case.  By the time we got into the airport, with my husband still refusing to pay, I was very upset and couldn't wait to get home.  It clearly wasn't the second taxi driver's fault, but he was very angry and obviously the language difficulties didn't help...But it left a bad taste in our mouths and has probably coloured my whole review - which it probably shouldn't!

Adequate bijou apartment in Villa

We stayed in this house for two nights , renting the entire villa excluded a room . upon arrival we had to wait outside the house for at least a couple of hours because they were still finishing the cleaning. for more once we have finished the wait in the apartment no one has led us to make us see the rooms and the kitchen , and no one has helped us to settle down . He has just arrived a gentleman who recommended places there (some bad) to eat; where to spend the day and the buses with which to move. The stay was not bad since the house despite being old was large, spacious and had plenty of . only downside was the electric stove . comes the worst part of the stay , the time of check out . from Italy we had asked for a late check out at 8 pm because our ferry left at 10 pm . They told that time was fine but already from the first day the owners have insisted that check out was only at 11 am . then we ask a favor to leave the luggage all afternoon in the house . But back to resume them we find out in the garden ; unattended and with the gate open . let the owners to ask for explanations ; gone. neighbors did not even know who they were . bad behavior and bad hospitality. and finally at 11 pm there is a curfew or the neighbors call the police. The old city is very far away from home, need a bus or a taxi to move. Nearby there are some cafes and a beach of dubious cleanliness.
