We were so close to the main street of Dubrovnik!.  If we wanted to hear the music we opened our window but with it closed, we heard nothing and could sleep.  The apartment was clean and small but that was to be expected for the location. 
We would recommend this property!

Great location!

I stayed here for four nights in September - it's in a great location in the Old Town, just a few minutes walk from Pile Gate, with lots of attractions and restaurants nearby. The owner was really friendly, we arrived around midday - were dropped off outside Pile Gate and there was someone waiting to meet us and take us to the apartments. The room was clean and comfortable with the basic facilities we needed - we didn't spend much time there as we had a busy few days and were out early most mornings, but as an affordable place to stay in the heart of Dubrovnik it was perfect for us

Great base to explore Dubrovnik

Such a fantastic location, very central to the Old Town and so it was easy to walk everywhere, or pop back in and out through the day. The room was clean and comfortable, and the host was friendly on arrival, even let me check in a little early - be aware there's no reception/front desk so you have to arrange arrival time.
The main downside was the lack of kitchen facilities in the double room - the photos showed a toaster & microwave but they were not there (only fridge & kettle), which meant I couldn't cook as much as I had planned to. Lowered the value for money for me!

Brilliant location

Brilliant location just inside the city walls and only a couple of streets from the Pile Gate entrance.  Handy for everything inside the city, and for tours and buses which leave from the Pile Gate.  Located on  one of the narrow alleyways off Stradum which is the main street, and importantly  in a flat area.  Many apartments in Dubrovnik can be up hills with  loads of steps to access so be careful selecting one.  It did have a winding staircase to access the actual apartment which is fine for people with reasonable mobility.   It was also surprisingly quiet with so much going on nearby.   The flat itself was clean and comfortable just like the photograph.  Facilities  perfectly adequate for two people enjoying a city break where you are not going to be spending a lot time in the apartment.  Just make sure you have arrangements in place for access since no one is on site. We gave time of arrival which was  late evening.  We were lucky enough to find a guest entering the apartment block who kindly took us to where the owner worked to get our keys etc. A  perfect location for exploring Dubrovnik.

Location, location, location.

This was the first stop of our Croatia road trip. Communication following up to the trip was good/responsive. You can take a 40kuna per person shuttle bus directly from DBV airport to Pile Gate on the west side of Old Dubrovnik Town. Upon disembarking it is a mere 7minute walk to the apartment where we were greeted by a v friendly and helpful Kristina.

The property is situated in one of the many quiet/winding alleys off the main strip and you have access to all the restaurants, money exchangers, and a v good gelato stall!

Important amenities like fridge and good shower all there as well airconditioning. 

My only (teeny weeny) gripe is that, like almost all other apartments in Croatia - stairs up are v narrow  and winding, so carrying up your luggage is a bit of a pain, especially if you are travelling with older folk. However - as i said. v minor and in most cases not really an issue.

Once settled in  - we had literally everything available to us at our doorstep!

Will definitely consider staying here again on a return visit!

Efficiently run and convenient central location - everything at your door-step!

APARTMENT BEATO – 27TH August, 2018.  Perfectly Situated. 

It is situated in an ideal position and is accessible to everything. The apartment is a 3 minute walk from Pile Gate and the Airport Shuttle bus. Pile Gate is the first stop from the Airport.  However, your departure Shuttle Bus is a 10 minute walk up the hill and close to the Cable Car Station. The Ticket Office is on the opposite side of the Bus Stop and departs every 30 minutes. Bus Tickets can also be purchased on the Bus itself. 

The rooms are small and lead up from a steep staircase. The room is not serviced and can be compared with a home-stay.  Should you wish to do and reading, there are no bedside lights. The room has a Double Bed, but with Single Bed top sheets only. It was not made up on our arrival, but with the sheets placed folded at the foot of the bed. Other than a half-used packet of premix Chocolate drink sealed with a clothes peg and some sugar, there was not tea, coffee or milk in the room. 

The Hosts speak very little English. There is no 24 hour concierge service, therefore arrangements must be made for late arrivals. If you have lost luggage issues, you would have to make your own arrangements to receive it. Should you require the services of a luggage storage facility, there is one very nearby.  

There is a small Grocery Store within the Old City and a Fresh Produce and Curio Market closer to the harbour side for any emergencies you may require. Everything is within the walking distance. Money can be exchanged at the Post Office. 

The are many restaurants within the Old City.  Budget friendly ones would include: Oliva Italian.  Mea Culpa Italian.  A Greek Restaurant, Kamenice Portugese next to the Daily Maket Square etc. 

You would rather be paying for it’s good position rather than it’s value for money on a “Take it or leave it” basis.  A few simple small changes could go a long way for this establishment.
