A well located clean acvomodation very close to the water front. Good views, large bedroom and bathroom.
No plugs in bathroom so bring your own plug. Can't use bath but shower over bath has no curtain so water goes everywhere. If they don't want you to use the bath take it out and put in a proper shower.
No kettle in room but we did ask and one was provided with cups.
Breakfast ok .

5 Stars for the location. We enjoyed a lovely week at Guest House Marija in old town just off the main street, near the old port (where boats leave for excursions to Lokrum, Cavtat, and Elaphati Islands etc.)  This location means we didn’t have to deal with Dubrovnik’s city steps! Our room was up one flight of stairs, very clean, comfortable, with 2 tall windows and a high ceiling giving it an open feel, but navigating around the large bed is pretty much one person at a time.  

The a/c worked great at night allowing the windows to be sealed shut to keep out the bulk of noise.   The bathroom is small, as expected for an old town location.  Good hot water and pressure.  The little kitchenette was handy with a fridge,  tea kettle, sink, burners etc.  There is even a small safe.   Plenty of good places to eat and drink near-by.  Dube was very pleasant and we were very pleased with our base here.

Ideal Location in Old Town

I decided upon a central location in Dubrovnik old town and this fits the bill. But the centrality comes with caveats! The old town means old buildings and narrow streets with smallish rooms and having to pass by the tourist crowds everywhere you go.
But the owner has taken great pains to ensure a good stay, like converting the adjoining store room into a bathroom/toilet (private/single) and stocking up the (single) room with a cupboard, aircon, fridge, TV and wifi.
   When I ran short of kuna notes, I was allowed to change some euros at a good rate so I could have more of the great Dubrovnik food!
  These great shows of hospitality by the owner make for a great stay.
   A nearby supermarket allows you to buy your own breakfast - the night before - and all major sights are nearby. 
   Being right next to the Luza square allows one to enjoy the live music streaming from there, but also the revelry that goes on till the wee hours!
   While getting to the property is relatively easy as buses drop you at the Pile gate, getting to the airport presents another challenge, as the bus will pick up only from the base of the cable car station. This is a steep climb and let me *not* recommend that the most straightforward way, going to Boskoviceva ulica two streets away and exiting at the small Buza gate. The steps are worn very smooth and you could easily slip with heavy luggage.
  Instead, exit through the Ploce gate, go up Iza Grada ulica, a nice road and immediately at the car park, turn right, follow the edge of it, along the buildings and there will be a set of stairs leading upwards to the base of the cable car station. There are rest points, if you so need to stop.
   Have a great stay as you step back in time!

Homely hospitality!

As an Old Town location it is ideal. However my room was basic with a cold water hand basin only. My "own" shower and toilet were separate but OK, except there was no hot water access, apart from the actual shower. I've slept in more comfortable beds. The host was friendly. The best thing about the facility is its location.
    I travelled by car so there was no parking offered. Instead I used the public garage for two days at 750kuna. If traveling by car you may want to consider staying outside the Old Town and seek a location that offers free parking.

Located in the old town up a lot of stairs, but can't beat location 

Wifi was fast and entire and bathroom was clean. 

Air con worked liked a charm which is key even in September. She spook little English but her (daughter?) who got on phone with us did. 

Required to pay cash but ATMs are nearby. 

Small but clean and great location 

The room was somewhat small but clean and came with ac and fridge. Don't expect silence during the night as the guesthouse is very close to Dubvronik's party center.
No breakfast served (what does the 2nd 'B' stand for, again....?). If you give more weight to the proximity to the city center this is an option - though for 70 EUR more on the expensive side.
