I stayed for 2 nights with my husband and 2 year old son. Property was really easy to find using Google maps and its location made it an excellent base for 1.5 days exploring dubrovnik. There are steps up to and within the property however this is to be expected given the location. 
The apartment is small, but fine for a short stay, and clean.
Major problem for us was that it is only an air conditioning unit in the lounge, is isn't effective in 32 degree heat, and a basic fan in the bedroom. This caused very unpleasant sleeping temperatures and our son got very bad heat rash as a result. I would not have stayed here had we know the airconditioning was just a fan. It would also have been nice to have been provided a hairdryer and shower gel, although this wasn't a major sticking point.
Overall perfect location, clean and value for money but the lack of air conditioning means we wouldn't return.

Perfect location, no proper airconditioning

We stayed 3 nights at this lovely apartment, and it served us as a perfect base to explore Dubrovnik. The rooms are spacious. It would be a little hard to properly cook, as the ceiling is low in the kitchenette, but that didnt matter for us, as Dubrovnik offers so many good places to eat in a very charming environment, so it would be a pity to eat at home.
There are some stairs to climb, but thats because everywhere in the city you need to climb stairs. If you cant walk stairs, dont visit Dubrovnik in the first place.
Very nice hosts, that were very flexible with checkin and checkout times, and gave lots of good recommendations what to do during the stay.



Lovely place with central location in Old Town

We had booked in for 11.00am, but after climbing 80 steps and 38 degrees heat, couldn't get in to the room as it was still occupied. Had to wait for 6 hours for the owner to turn up, then more stairs inside. Good location but terrible to get to.
If you have any issues walking up or downstairs, definitely not for you, also NO vehicles allowed in the old town area due to it being completely pedestrian.

Fitness fanatics

(We had apartment number 2, floor 2 of 3)

+Very good location, in the old town, close to everything, restaurants, etc.
10min walk to Banje Beach.
3min walk to the groccery store Konzum.
5min walk to Pile Gate where all the taxis and buses stops.
The next aisle up is to the cable car and the bus to the airport.
+Fridgerator, kettle, kitchen utensils, etc.
+Could fit 4 persons, if 2 are sleeping on the sofa/couch.

-Difficult to stand straight at the kitchen, because of the ceiling.
-Need to put on the water heater at least 1h before taking a shower to get warm water.
-No hairdryer.
-Air condtion is only on for 4h, then the water tank needs to be emptied (the tank is on the side on the buttom).
-There is only a standalone fan in the bedroom, no air condition.
-Only 1 ceiling-lamp was working in both the living room and the bedroom (rest of the 5 was broken), 1 lamp is enough but anyway it needs to be fixed.
otherwise there are wall lamps that was good enough.
-Some mold in the shower wall, shower curtain was old and moldy in the bottom.
-There is no swimming pool, even if its written in the website (I asked the reception).
-No balcony, difficult to get the towels dry after the beach.
-No schampoo or body lotion, only soap.
-Noisy because its close to restaurants, etc.

The reception is in the souvenir shop, only opens around 7am to 9pm.
When we wanted to have the apartment cleaned, we had to tell 1 day ahead (got informed when we arrived), but one of the reception girls didnt know that.
"Only" around 40 steps up to the apartment, there are more steps at Ploce area.
Could pay with euros or kunas for the apartment, but only with cash.

I give this apartment a 4 stars because of the location and the price we gave.
Its very difficult to get an apartment with good location to everything and not having to go up 100 steps.

Very good location but no pool

This apartment really couldn't be any better located, literally round the corner from one of the most recommended restaurants in Dubrovnik (Wanda) on a strip of other restaurants, right in the heart of the old town, only moments from the main street and square it really is the best base for exploring Dubrovnik. The only thing that lets it down is that the 'reception' or rather where the keys are held is in the shop opposite, but this wasn't mentioned in any of the bookings we made, nor is it written on/near the door of the apartments, so we had to call the owner who pointed us in the right direction! The apartment itself was clean and bright although they could have done with opening the windows before our arrival, as it was a little musty, and the bed wasn't amazingly comfy. But other than that, for the price we paid, to get the size and location of this place. Very happy!

Location, location, location (although confusing entrance)

We stayed on the 1st floor = Ground fl. +1.
A very small but cozy appartment, very well situated, a minute walk from the gates facing the cable car station. Another minute down the steps to Stradun. 
Window in the bed-room leaked a lot in the heavy rain - close it tight!
Sleep was generally quiet.
A small bar is only fifty meters away down the steps, and a number of restaurants.
Kitchinette decently equipped. 
Folding couch in  the living room can sleep two (plus two in the bed-room).
