Whie not everyone's cup of tea, you can benefit from the little quirks and pay less than you otherwise might to stay in the center of the city. It is close to the harbor. If you do not mind the music from the expensive restaurant below and if you have a sense of adventure this might be a good place for you. For example, you can very easily take day trips by boat along the immediate coast line and be back again. The Old Town is very crowded with tourists who come for the day, but staying here will allow you to walk around a little later than someone who has to leave the Old Town to go to a less expensive place several kilometers away.

OK Place and Cheap for the City Center

Excellent airbnb apartment,Right central in old town. Quite at all time.Blanka was a great host.The place was clean and the supermarket was just walking distance.Lots to see around this apartment area.Can't complain .A****

Apartment Galileo II, Central square

On the plus side, the location near the bus stop and the Pile Gate to the Old Town is great. This was also relatively inexpensive for a private room in Dubrovnik, though, I've got to say, by global or even rest-of-Croatia standards, this is not good value. 

The room was fine, small but clean. The bathroom though was bizarrely designed with zero ventilation and smelled funky all the time. 

Neno, the owner, was friendly and helpful.

Great location, but the room was just ok

I did not enjoy staying at this place. 
Though, of course the location is just perfect and i have to say that I was positivelly surprised by the bathroom. (We stayed in a private room, shared bathroom.)

The staircase and the yard of the hostel were messy with all kind of stuff! And I could not decide weather there was someone living downstairs and were we just walking across their house all the time... 
There was no sound insulation, so I heard normal conversations from upstairs in the morning and woke up. The room was also really out dated and there was a closet just for statistics: you actually could not even open the doors because it was placed in too small space. 
But the worst thing was that the hot water run out quickly! The bathroom was ment for 4 people to share and the hot water run out after just two of us taking a short shower. Luckily there was no one in the next room.

And if you choose this place, rememeber to inform the owner man the exact time when you arrive. We did not and he was furious. I have never before visited a place where I should inform the place earlyer. And! You also have to "of course" pay in advantage, which was weird too. 

And just to add one, I had visited Dubrovnik earlyer and that also fooled me a little bit when choosing the place to stay. In the booking site they had picture of sea with kayaks, I know the place so I thought that the place would be besides the sea. It was of course my hault not being precice, but I not know why the picture is there in the first place.

Hot water run out

very nicy guest house with privat room,dorm room,sea view.Perfect location and exelent service.everything is so near. just few steps to old town the beach is 50 m away.
the best thing is that is so quiat even that you are in old town

Pro : The apartment is really near to the Old Town. The staff were so friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons : The wifi was not working at one of the apartment (Hopefully it doesn't happen often), and the TV in my room was not working as well.
