its a family owned place. Lovely, kind and Generous owners. Perfect location near to everything. supermarket in 10 mtr distance. It was very clean. The kitchen had all you need. Warm reception with nice cakes and drinks. A big supermarket is just very near. Calm and quiet. offer free parking. run by a senior couple, who are super kind and nice. the harbour is just 5 mins walk. old town 10 mins walk. nice view from the balcony. good price and great stay. WC was big and clean.

You need climb some stairs up.

great stay, super kind host, family owned place

We took the bus from Old Town to Port Gruz. Be prepared for a lot of stairs to reach the apartment. Nothing fancy but there was a bed to sleep on. The apartment was clean and spacious. The owners spoke broken English but it was not a problem. For the price, it was not a bad stay at all. 

Not bad

Can't complain much for the rate we paid and we know we will be out exploring the city most of the time anyway, so we do not need a fancy place to stay. The place however has a very nice and big balcony with superb view of the city.

Location wise, it's not super near to the old town but not far either. If you are driving, the owner even provided you his own parking spot :)  

The owner is a very old couple and they are very lovely and friendly, we feel very warm and welcomed.

Lovely host, reasonable rate

Booked as part of interrailing trip, very welcoming hosts, and lovely view of Gruz harbour from the terrace. However the A/C didn't work, not too much of a problem but would have been nice as it got quite hot. Only 2/3 of the rooms have a sea view and balcony, our room did not, but there was a communal terrace.
The shower was quite awkward as there was no shower curtain resulting in having to sit in the bath. Depending on the time of day the hot water tended to run out too.
It is very far away from the old town (25 minute walk) but there are buses available.
Enjoyed the stay.

Friendly, lovely area.

Upon arrival, was given a room on the same level used by the very old couple who owned the apartment, complete with use of their bathroom which was without a toilet seat and still had the mornings' toothpaste spit in the sink.

Checked my booking and pointed out the room I had booked had AC and a balcony. At that, the old woman brought a fan into the room and the old fellow showed me to the front of the house which apparently was 'the balcony'. When I suggested that the room I had booked was actually upstairs, she spat out ,"why problem, it one night".

When it was clear I was trying to call booking.com to discuss, their son in law went upstairs and basically removed the guy already staying in the room I had booked (after suggesting we could share!) and I was shown that for my approval. When I realised that he had already slept on one side of the double bed, the unused side was pointed at and was told "it's clean". Was too flabbergasted to say anything else. At that point, I really should just have left and communicated with booking.com to resolve. But came back late and left early. Still shaking my head in disbelief as I write this.
