It was close to the main bus station(from other country). People there (owners)were nice, and sightseeing spot (old city) is a walking distance (20 min). supermarket and bakery nearby.
The key was too hard for me to open/shut. (my husband could do this, though). There is no big sign, so you need to pay attention.

nice and affordable place

We booked a room for two, it's very far from downtown, so you have to travel by bus to downtown (each ticket is 2€) so it's really not worth it to be so far away. It's a three-room apartment in a family home, the owner doesn't speak English well, but he explained very well that if we stayed for five days he would give us the room with views and that since we were only three days we would be without views (we booked a hostel because he said it had views).

Clean but distant.

We had a very good reception. The house is very well situated and accessible by bus (lines 3 and 8). Our room with a view of the harbour. We enjoyed the terrace. Very good bed. The kitchen is spacious. The bathroom is functional. Excellent quality ratio price 38€ per night.

What a wonderful view

Guesthouse was perfect for our stay as we were only in Dubrovnik for one night. Gorgeous balcony and views and arriving was too easy as It was a short walk from the main bus station which we were dropped at from the airport shuttle. When we arrived our lovely hosts greeted us and nothing was a problem! They showed us the bus stop to old town which was right outside the house and it was an easy walk to the pier where our boat departed the next day. Room and bathroom were extremely clean and wifi was available. We loved their dog Horace!

Perfect for us... Great hosts!

When we arrived, we were quickly greeted and shown to our room. 
We didn't get a map or a chat about sights to see but we had everything we needed.
We had a double room with shared bathroom. It was very clean, the bed was comfy and the air con worked!! 
It's basic, cheap and in a great location. The old town is a 30 minutes away and it's easy to find. and we were happy with the accommodation and would stay here again.

The guesthouse is a bit out of the way of Old Town (is within walking distance however) but is easy to get to form the main bus station and port. The host is really nice and while true he is not fluent in English, he was extremely helpful and the language barrier wasn't a problem. I'd recommend this guesthouse to anyone who want a to stay in Dubrovnik.

Really nice guesthouse and host

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in August. Initially there was some confusion as to how many nights we were booked for, with the host who doesn't speak much English. By the following morning he had found our booking and everything was ok! Despite the language barrier between us, the host is such a nice guy, and has a beautiful big dog!
You have to get a bus to the town really, but the stop is very near the house. The ferry port is a 5 minute walk, once you work out there is a short cut down some steps!
It was clean, we had a nice comfy twin room. The shared kitchen was clean as well, and there was a computer with internet.
I would recommend this place.
