The accommodation is 7 minutes walk from the old town. The apartment is beautiful and has a massive terrace with far reaching views. Marine was the perfect host and made the apartment ready for me at 11:30am. I would highly recommend Apartments Dubrovnik Seven. .

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

Marina is an exceptionally warm and friendly host. Her communication was excellent, she arranged complimentary effortless airport transfers. She escorted us to the apartment and welcomed us with a cold beer - perfect! The apartment was spotlessly clean and well presented, had everything we needed. Perfect location for the old town -  could walk there in 10 minutes. Do note, there are a lot of steps to get to and from this apartment, certainly keeps your fit. Dubrovnik is a stunningly beautiful place, even in the rain. Marina goes the extra mile for her guests and I would thoroughly recommend staying at Apartment Seven.

Fabulous host

Marina is a wonderful host and her apartment was perfect. It is an easy walk to the Old Town, and close to restaurants and bars. We brought our small dog and it was no problem with her. When we got there, we went the wrong way, and she followed me down to the car and drove with us to our parking spot. Make sure you reserve this before if you need it. 

We were given a bottle of wine when we got in the apartment. It was perfect after a long drive. Great views of Dubrovnik. Checked on us to make sure that we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Very affordable as well. I would definitely go back and stay here if I make it back to Dubrovnik. 

Very Cozy

This place wasn't in my initial top ten, which were all booked, but it was fine. Quietly located only a few minutes from the old town gate, it had decent sized rooms and everything you would need in an apartment. We ate out for breakfasts etc, but didn't see any food supermarkets. 
The downside for a lot of people would be the steps. You can't get a car or taxi near due to narrow streets and hills and its some 200 steps to the town road, although to be fair finding an apartment without steps would be difficult.

Ideal for those who are fit, travel light and carry a torch

We got the "Hyde" version of this delightful host everyone seems to encounter. Perhaps because we were driving to the location, and she provided the alternative directions to the promised "free parking" location BEHIND the building (not the address listed on any of her listings) at 8AM on the day we were flying into Dubrovnik - bear in mind we booked weeks prior! When we ultimately got lost due to the unclear lastminute.com directions, her dark side came out. She spent the next 30 minutes shouting at us and berating us as we parked and checked into the apartment - saying we "don't read our emails" (not everyone has roaming data while they're traveling. maybe don't email the morning of arrival?), that we shouldn't have rented a vehicle because we are "good at getting lost" and aggressively yelling about how we left her "waiting in the sun for 30 minutes like a fool" (we never asked her to). We didn't respond to any of her provocative comments because we were determined to have a good time. She said check-out was at 10AM and we could keep the parking space if we wanted to wander, have breakfast etc. Very nice offer. The morning we were leaving, we did the dishes, put all our trash in the bins, but we obviously didn't sweep/mop/dust? - then we then headed up to the parking lot with all our bags to load the car, intending to then walk back down and pay. In fact, the host saw our friend wallking up with her bags and smiled, askjng her if we were taking off, so she was aware we were loading our bags. As we walked back down the steps, we were confronted with a crazed Marina yelling about how we didn't pay and accusing us of running off without paying and how we "left the apartment looking a state" and how we're "wild women" - one woman in her 60s travelling with her daughter and friend in their 30s. When we tried to pay by card, she started berating us again about "not being able to read" as we had forgotten about the cash only payment. We did have enough money to cover between us, but she kept going on and on berating us aggressively as we got our money together. At that point, we had really had enough and told her to shut up! There is only so much yelling you can take. She really is a special lady! We advise you do not stay here if you are driving, it seems to get on her dark side- not worth the trouble and rudeness.
