Cute apartment! Location is perfect for exploring and escaping to the cool between attractions or exacting the heat in the hottest part of the day.
Despite being told there was no house keeping, the room was cleaned 3 times during my 5 night stay.
Good size for one person, but may be a tight squeeze for twin share.
Secure luggage storage available if you arrive early.
I thought it tough being on level 3, until I saw all the stairs some people would have to get to their apartment alone.

Cute yet quiet apartment on the walls of old town.

We loved our time at Apartments Zoro.  Nico was extremely helpful.  He carried our bags upstairs for us and again to the Uber he arranged for us outside the Pile Gate.  Our stay was perfect, our room clean, and Nico had good restaurant recommendations.  The Old City is wonderful and I can't imagine staying outside its walls.  Would love to visit again.  Thanks, Nico!

Perfect for a stay in the Old City!

I booked the Apartments Zoro because it was an apartment. Because uh-well- apartments is in-like- the name. When I got to the Apartment Zoro, it was not an apartment. It was basically a very poorly maintained small room with a hot plate (that was the kitchen part, I assume.)
The shower was ice cold and I called one of the owners, who did say I could shower at their other property,  but that it was otherwise booked. The other apartment was a short walk away, up some stairs, and was quite lovely. It was actually an Apartment. It had a kitchen area, the apt was light and airy, and I would have loved to stay there. The owner said I could stay one night which I did. I enjoyed the night except for the fact there are no protections against the strong sunlight which crashes through the slats like laser beams at five A.M.  But the apartment is a joy, otherwise. I don't know why they don't spend a few bucks for some blackout curtains. Then that apartment would be perfect. But the room I was forced to return to for the second night needs to be gutted, renovated, and given a small refrigerator. Forget the deception of calling it an apartment/apartment studio because there is a hot plate.  Calling a room with a hot plate an apartment is like calling a toy wagon a car simply because it has four wheels. That is dishonest, and this dishonestly is beneath the owners who seem to want to do the right thing.

You call this an apartment?

We had great hopes for this stay. They asked what time we would be arriving so that someone was there to help us with the luggage and when we arrived a delivery man called the cleaner to let us in - she wasn’t expecting us but kindly let us leave our bags. Said Nico would be there later.
When we returned the owner Nico was there and he showed us our rooms but kept on complaining he wasn’t well! When we asked about the bar downstairs he told us that it wouldn’t be open that night or Sunday because of his cold explaining he needed to be well for Monday to do the grape harvest therefore not open on Monday either. When we told him we were disappointed as one of the reasons we booked was the onsite bar for snacks and home made wine which would have been nice for a nightcap, he said he’d leave some out for us to taste - which he forgot to do! 
At the same time we asked if he could arrange a taxi for the Tuesday to get to the airport and let us know the details.
He left us contact phone numbers but said he’d be back during our stay - we never saw a member of staff after this and we were there 3 days!   On Monday after being unable to contact anyone regarding the taxi our son in England managed contact Nicos sister and gave us the taxi details. On Tuesday morning the taxi was not waiting where we were told it would be! Yet again Nico hadn’t done what he promised to do.
All in all the accommodation was in a good location but the lack of service and  facilities was not exceptable. Also not being able to contact anyone when we needed ( thank goodness there were not any emergencies) meant we felt very let down.
One last thing to note is the bus from the airport no longer stops at Pile Gate so you have to walk thro the Old Town - it only take about 10 minutes but it would be nice if the owners had warned us of this!

Non exsistant staff

On arrival we were greeted by the cleaner even though we were asked our approximate arrival time by the owner, she allowed us to leave our bags as our rooms were not ready. When we arrived back Nico the owner was outside, we went into the bar area and he explained that the bar would not be open due to the fact that he was ill and that the following Monday he was going to Harvest his grape crop, and his sister was in her ninth month of pregnancy and was not able to be there, we said that it was a shame because we had been looking forward to tasting his wine because it had good reviews, he then said don’t worry I will leave some wine in the rooms for you to try, the wine didn’t materialise and we saw nobody from management for the rest of the stay. In my opinion the apartments should have closed temporarily while problem existed and reopened when the expected standards of service could be met.
