Currently staying with 3 friends for a 1 week Holiday. We've been given a nice 3 room appartement with a simple yet decent kitchen and a proper bathroom. There is a bus stop only 100m from where we stay that wil take you directly to Split and the airport and the supermarket is just across the street. The beach is alsof close and the local town offers some nice dining and drinking opportunities. All in all, a very nice appartement with all the right facilities either nearby or easy to reach. 

Nice and well priced

I stayed at Apartments Sustic for one night only travelling back from a longer vacation.  The main reasons for my selection were: proximity to the Split Airport, v good opinions of other travellers (on booking.com), and v good price. 

The apartments are easy to reach by local (cheap) public transportation bus 37 or 38 from Split (40-50 min of a drive), apartments are 150m from a bus stop - had no problem getting there.
The apartments are located next to a local main road but it did not seem to be very busy at evening, additionally the front yard has bushes/small trees sheltering from the direct exposure to the street. 

My room was very clean, properly fitted with furniture - everything well taken care of.  Air-conditioning was working quietly and efficiently.  

Although I did not have a chance to interact too much with the owner, he seems to be a very nice guy with a truly service oriented attitude.  
Before I arrived there I had a few questions about the apartment. I used the email given in my reservation (which happen to be Hotel Adria email address).  The response in English came promptly and covered all that I was asking for.  
What the description of the apartments does not mention is that the owner offers a free transfer to the airport which additionally makes the place a good deal.  

The only inconvenience for people who like to sleep late is that there might be planes flying from the nearby airport. They do not fly at night so it might be an issue only in the morning.  Anyway this applies to all apartments in the vicinity. 

Generally, a very positive experience.

Apartment Sustic - a great choice! (and free transfer to the airport)

Just recently returned from a trip in Croatia and stayed two nights at the apartments.  Compared to the rest of Croatia I wouldn't recommend split a a place to stay but me and my girlfriend were flying in and out of split airport.  We apartment sustic to stay the night we arrived and the night before we left as its location for the airport was perfect.  The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable.  It was family run and they old not have been more welcoming and helpful, we were even given a lift to the airport the day of our flight!
