Clean and well equipped apartment a short distance from the centre of Cavtat. The staff were wonderful. They picked us up and dropped us at the airport which was excellent value. We had a sea view and sunbeds on our terrace. The place has dated deco but that didn’t matter to us. It was spotless, convenient and good value.

4 night stay in Cavtat. Perfect for what we were looking for.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Ana. We had a top-floor apartment with fantastic views of Cavtat bay and it was perfect for watching the sun go down on the balcony with a drink in the evening.
The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed home to eat some nights and we had everything we needed.
It is also spotlessly clean and towels and bedding were changed every other day. We even had our own beach towels washed!
The apartment is in a great location, just a 10-minute uphill walk from the centre of the town. There is however an amazing restaurant just around the corner and the bus stop to Dubrovnik is just a few minutes walk away.
The host family are very warm and friendly and were extremely helpful. On arrival, we found two cold beers in our fridge. We were provided with a transfer to the airport and back at no extra cost and while we waited for our lift back were also given a beer!

Fantastic

We(me and my wife) have now stay at Villa Ana for one week 7-14 september.
This is truly a nice place to live.The owner helps us with everything.
We have been in Cavtat several times,but this is the first time at Villa Ana.
We stay in second floor with a stunning views,and a big balcony.
We will absolute recommend this place.
It,s a short walk to the town,about 10 min up/down.

Vacation

We appreciated the availability of Zeljka who came to pick us up and take us back to the airport. namely: beach sheets are available. There is no need to load up with towels and sheets. The apartment has a terrace of suitable size where we can dine while contemplating the sunset on the sea. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, kitchen equipment... everything is there. Didn't like it · Cavtat is close to the airport, it is an advantage. The disadvantage is that it is located on the air corridor. You have all the leisure to watch the planes approach.

Lots of pluses like the owner was very friendly and helpful One or two things were missing from the kitchen like sink plugs and microwave utensils but were quickly found. Zeljka collected us from the bus station in Dubrovnik and arranged for us to be taken to the airport at the end of our stay. The villa is up a steep hill form Catvat but it's close to a small supermarket and a splendid restaurant Logos. But we didn't find it particularly peaceful during the day . There was often a lot of noise from a building site a few metres away from our balcony. These guys started work about 8am and sometimes didn't finish till quite late. There was banging, shouting and machinery going on most of the day, spoiling the atmosphere. The new building will certainly spoil the few and the tranquility of the place. Catvat is a great place to visit with lots of great bars restaurants and walks or just a general chill out in Taha bay.

well maintained apartment but too near a building site

We stayed in a top floor apartment with an amazing view of the Dalmatian Coast.  It was spotlessly clean and well appointed.  Both Zeljka and Ana could not have been more gracious as hosts.  We were picked up at the airport after dropping our rental car and even taken the next day to a nearby village for a cultural festival.   We will absolutely return.

Outstanding Stay

We were met at the airport as requested in advance and driven the short distance to resort & shown where nearest amenities were, buses, shops, small supermarket etc. We were able to access our apartment when we arrived and were shown where everything was. The owner (Zeljka) speaks good English.  I was presently surprised with what was provided as I have stayed in many apartments where you were not even left a cloth or cleaning supplies. We were provided with washing up liquid, cloths, dishwasher tablets (although never used this) kitchen roll, bin bags, salt and pepper, liquid soap in bathroom and toilet rolls were regularly topped up. We were also left water and beers in the fridge (there is a large fridge with small freezer compartment). Anything you need you just have to ask, the owner lives on site in a downstairs apartment and there is a reception area with a bell. The villa was cleaned every few days and sheets and towels changed which was excellent. I also loved the complimentary slippers! The patio was spacious with comfortable loungers and of course the most amazing view which is one of the reasons I booked this villa.(Top floor, number 9) The sunsets are spectacular. It is a short walk to the town and seafront area of Cavtat, either down a road or a lot of steps (OK to go down but harder to come back up), so you need to be able to be fit enough to tackle this journey in the heat! As we were mostly lazy in the day this became our much needed daily exercise! We loved Cavtat, it is a quiet resort which comes more alive at night. There is usually an enormous sailing or cruising boat to admire moored up in the harbour. There are many good restaurants, walks around the bay and town in various directions, boat & road trips.  The only negatives were:- I had not realised until just before departure (my fault) that the villa did not accept credit card, only cash. As we arrived over the weekend the banks were not open. You get a much better  rate of exchange there than in UK so we were able to draw the money out on debit card. (nearly £1,000). We also took pounds stirling in cash to exchange. They do not seem to take euros in most of the restaurants we cam across. There are several banks in the town of Cavtat.
The spacious bed is only provided with single (very narrow) sheets almost like table cloths that barely cover you which UK visitors would not be used to. After a few nights we realised there were thin duvets under the sofa bed in the lounge which we used. When our villa was cleaned the next day these were put on the bed with covers which gave us a much more comfortable nights sleep, we should have asked and I am sure they would have been provided earlier. 

I would recommend anyone to stay in this apartment and in Cavtat. Dubrovnik is interesting to visit but exceedingly busy when the cruise ships are in town.


Top floor apartment is well equipped with spacious balcony and amazing views

We booked Villa Anna for a 7 day break in Croatia in June 2017 (sorry I can't get this date in the when did you travel section).  The Landlady collected us at the airport and before taking us to our accommodation showed us around Cavtat.  We had booked one of the apartments at the top of the building overlooking Cavtat.  The apartment was spacious, well equipped and the sun was on the veranda most of the day.  Cavtat is on a hill so there is quite a walk from the town up to this apartment but  we do not mind walking.  There is a bus stop just outside if you needed to get a bus.  We did use this bus to travel to Dubrovnik.  The Landlady was so helpful and made our stay very pleasant.  We hope to go back to Cavtat and we hope we can stay once again in Villa Ana.


Excellent Base with an Excellent Landlady

I've stayed here with my family (4 people) for one night, being again on tour across former Yugoslavia and Central Europe. We arrived without reservation at 7 p.m. and we stayed in one apartment at ground floor. I think the price of 90 euros was a last minute offer. The apartment consist in 2 rooms with very large beds, small bathrooms but well equiped, a lounge with TV, free WIFI, very good kitchen facilities (there is self catering) and acces to nice terasa with stunning view over the sea and mountains. Tip: ask for a room ar first or second floor to fully enjoy the sea view, that will last in your memory for long time. The villa is placed on a hill, but was not problem because i travelled by my car. Free parking places are available around the house. You can find a supermarket few minutes walking. As i was not interested, i don't know the distance to the beach, but the downtown is only few hunderts meters descendind the hill on a street.
The lady who runs the accomodation is very kind and helpful.
It was really a pity that because our tour schedule we could not stay more nights.

Good accomodation in Cavtat

Beautiful view with very comfortably furnished terrace. Nice space in the apartment. The bedding was a little too soft for us but it's a matter of taste. The curtain bar didn't hold well... The couches showed signs of intensive use... But we stayed at the end of the summer season... This may explain it. Otherwise, everything was very clean. The kitchen was perfectly furnished, allows for simple meals. Mostilloire, bread grill, microwave... Nothing is missing. You are offered a cleaning service every three days. We recommend all this accommodation to families with young children. We left with our three-month-old daughter on a terrace.
